Listening to this for the 10th time, I was not even listening to o&a when they were on the air. Ant and jimmy were the actual greatest broadcasting duo of all time.
How much of the show have you listened to, Ant is just that fast. Even Patrice said he's the most funny guy that never did stand up. Voss is the best counter puncher when someone attacks him, but you can throw almost any subject at Ant and he can deliver a great joke.
@@tkopp10976 @Onkel B I've listened to an unhealthy amount of O&A shows and bits, he's just as quick in other bits too, the "I see you're cured" to Jimmy's "AHBD" joke is a classic, I was just highlighting how quick by being hyperbolic 😆 Patrice couldn't have been more right, I honestly can't think of any other media host or personality that's so fast and so funny with no real effort put towards the craft of joke writing. I know he was around comedians all the time but that's no substitute, he's just THAT funny. Vos was such a great balance of genius and stupidity, his appearances on the show never disappointed!
Ant has a good one formed in his brain as soon as he hears something. It needs someone equally as fast as Jimmy to acknowledge the joke. There were so many occasions that Anthony fired out a good one and no one got it, so Anthony acknowledged the bombing on mic.
I was just thinking of AHBD and how quick Ant was with that one liner.... sad TACS and the podacast are the only times they're together on air anymore but at least we have that. One day maybe we will all get Ant and Jim in the mornings and the world will be a better place.
@@chippersonsencyclopediaemp1318 Im sure Ant would be into it they still get along great and the people's demand for a daily Ant and Jim show would still be very high.Sadly even with ants compound media empire. Sirus xm pays Jim very very well and so Jim has stayed with them. The only way it will happen is if SiriusXM and Jim have contract issues, Jim gets fired for some reason or if SiriusXM goes out of business.

My dream no one would lose their job Dave Landau would simply scoot over and be third mic.Yeah I'm subbed to compound media and love it.... Also have SiriusXM for now just to listen to the bonfire and Jim and Sam since RU-vid keeps purging uploads of those shows.
think of it as this way (i agree with everything you said by the way) imagine 3 athletes were the best a whatever sport, say baseball - they ruled the diamond for 20 years, they retire and all move on to coaching their own teams. 2 of the players (Jim, Ant) can still play, but do their own lil coaching (TACS, Jim and sam) but they could easily get together andr reclaim the title, but don't. Bec its just the way it goes.
These clips should be named, Jimmy blows! He is always riding the coat tail of somebody famous to make it in the industry, or he is always writing the coat tale of somebody who just made a hilarious joke, and jumps on the back of that, and ruins it all the time, all the time!
