Every time Opie screams like that I always picture his face not really changing, making his rage seem empty and instead of being funny just makes everyone uncomfortable
I'm so happy Eric has ditched Opie. Opie always treated him like shit. He would pretend he was good to him off air, but he always treated him like garbage.
I worked 2nd shift basically the whole time that O&A and Ron and Fez were on XM as a single dad, I wouldn't give up that time for anything, Probably why my kids are all hilarious and based as fuck
Do it for the bit let let me set it up for ya ya know I’ve been doing this 18 years you know my mother is crazy I love my dead father leave it alone! 🚗💥🔥🏢🔥🏢💥🚗
It's funny because I remember one time Opie was out, Jim and Ant were having trouble dealing with Erock and getting SO annoyed, then Jim started laughing and was like "I understand Opie more than ever right now"
Relatively new listener but from all of these clips Ive heard relating to this it seems Eric is usually not Entirely to blame; however is too nice of a guy to just come out and overtly place blame where needed
@aq2111 One day it came out that he liked a few of her songs. So they made her his theme music whenever he entered or left the studio. They did the same thing with Steve and sound effects of a Jetson car, because he had a hybrid.
That time he hurt himself “boogie boarding “ he actually got his ass kicked…was out with his new young wife and had to be a phony tough guy, started running his mouth and got a beating
Its a MIRACLE that one of the boys never knocked opie the f-ck out. And today Opie blames everyone else for not liking him, when in fact he was a c-nt to everyone
They don't just call women that, it's for a blackhole of comedy in radio. Unfortunately, it is very often women who fill that role, being hired because they are women and "safe", rather than any talent or skill at radio or comedy. They would not refer to Bonnie, Amy Schumer, etc, as a hole.
ugh this show was lame. they used to make 45 minute bits out of minor tiffs with the non-air talent (interns and production people). it's no wonder radio is dead.
