You are unfair. Sometimes you are a speaker and something distracts you and shocks you. You are taking it too far. Something can distract you to a point that you are misaligned for a moment. Calling him a pervert is taking it too far.

He humiliated and s&xualized her. She could have been pulled aside instead of being reprimanded publicly especially by a perverted male pastor. It would be better to let women handle such matters.
Reprimanding her was okay but explaining it that far was off. This pastor is also giving me the vibe that when I see I take.I feel like he lacks self-control.

Manner of approach speaks volumes. Its okay to correct the matter but how you do it is key. There was absolutely no need to dwell on the matter. Sometimes Pastors are arrogant in their approach. Some if not most of the things he said were unnecessary.
Some people dont listen to Ushers for a simple thing as please sit here what more when it comes to dressing. As women sometimes we are being ignorant and throwing eticacy away. There is dressing fit for every occasion. Lets teach each other to do the right thing.

A church is like a hospital, different people go there, the pastor started by reprimanding and ended with humiliation, no normal person would feel comfortable with their girl child being around a person who feels that if you are wearing a shot skirt he will take😒
I love this podcast because it’s called opinionated, so it’s about opinions guys don’t get mad. Every pastors knows their sheeps by the way. So to my understand the pastor is not wrong, what if mam mfundhisi didnt see that including the ushers? So the pastor was supposed to deliver the message while he’s distracted. He spoke the truth and congregants that are under his leadership must follow that.

I agree with Madam, I also once went to church n i forgot how to sir but my pastor called the ushers to give me a cloth and also, by signaling to them instead of just publicly calling someone out❤....He was very wrong and that girl I'm sure she was not doing it on purpose

The pastor was correct, we do not like correct. And I honestly think that we need to get to a place where we shame the devil on the spot the how part is irrespective. I can tell you that in the future there will be no one dressing like that, if its a visitor they will cover them at the door😅
What he did was right but was for the women or ushers to do that and also elaborating on that, was humiliation and I think after that never came back to church. And maybe it was her first time to church. Eish a lot to say around this.
Me l agree with the massage about dressing right but the approach to the lady was harsh he should have called her aside and talk to her with other older mothers of the church
The Bible says "and You shall sanctify them by Your Word". It's the Word of God that sanctifies us not human condemnation. So the preacher man should have taught the word and let it convict her rather than embarrass her
Lust is in our nature and that is why we a re called to be modest in all our ways including our dressing. We will be called to account by causing our fellow man to sin.

Dressing and/or sitting modestly is a way of honoring GOD , that's what he was supposed to base the reprimanding on, not focus on his fleshy views. Saying we will thatha what he sees shows his lack of self control.
I think his angle could have been any of the many scriptures addressing how a woman should dress in general. Being inadequately covered disrespects the woman. Not the lust angle. No no no! There is nothing in the Bible from his angle.

I think you should listen to the video again no were in the video did the pastor says " we will take" but what he said was " as pastor's we are human too, we are flesh and we get tempted too. What tempts other man tempts us too, what other man love we love too" you took it out of context and your view was wrong. Scripture teaches us that God does not tempt us but our own desires tempt us. The comment is a reflection of the pastor desire and maybe even weakness but he did not say what you say he said. Please listen carefully and maybe ask for interpretation if needs be. Because now everyone commenting is relying on what you are saying and not what the pastor said.
The pastor could not concentrate and common sense has to apply when you dress up to go to church. Clearly even a female pastor could have addressed it in the same manner.
