I know he's called the Mexican Monster, but to me, he looks more like the Boogeyman. He's a terrifying opponent. Very big and strong for super middleweight. Plus, he's relentless. He's a scary dude and a great fighter.

David is a problem for anyone in and around his division his punch output and speed is amazing! Hopefully we can see that Canelo fight before he rides off into the sunset

Caleb plant is the true definition of a front runner..He can put up and excellent fight in the first few rounds then it's over..I think the problem is his gas tank.
He didn’t get stopped by David n didn’t look bad. Def a beast as well man. Not everyone can be no1 he was takin some bombs from David n didn’t get KOd and landed alot as well. Hard to find ppl to even fight David anymore.

Canelo didn't look all that great against John Ryder. I know styles make fights but Alvarez has looked beatable lately. I think David takes him if they ever meet.
Benavidez my 2nd favorite behind Spence but canelo been fighting for undisputed and went up for a bigger challenge than benavidez canelo has ducked no smoke whatsoever

Canelo would NEVER risk losing his belts at 168! If he fights at a higher weight and loses there's the built-in excuse that he was "too small for the weight". I'm even hearing he's in talks to fight Badu Jack next🤦🏿

I get a such a kick out of David. Smart as hell , well spoken and punches in bunches. But what really floats my host is when he smiles in the ring as the fight goes on. I’ve been watching fights for 65 years and I can’t remember anybody smiling in the ring like that. “Them bitches know what time it is.” I’d love to meet David
So you ain’t gonna say the same thing with Benavidez cause he was getting touched in the first half of the fight with plant and Canelo dominated every round against Ryder
David is a great boxer and he’s definitely has a great career ahead. Benavidez has great power but he needs to work on defense. People also forget that Bivol is a one of the best at light heavyweight; Canelo going up to 175 was a serious challenge for him but he’s best at 168 Canelo hasn’t been the best in his recent fights against Ryder or GGG, but David couldn’t drop Plant and lost the first 5 rounds. If Canelo does go for Bivol, it makes sense for Benavidez to go after Charlo or Smith before their showdown. This would definitely be a 50/50 fight for sure.

Caleb was washed and not seasoned if he fought David before canelo he would've got knocked out. He improved his game and gota lil seasoned since canelo fight that's why he didn't get knocked out

@Alan Espino he has fought a lot of B class fighters and fighters like ryder who was a C class fighter. And on top of that he's notorious for cherripicking opponent at the most advantageous time and on top of that add fighting older fighters and using cheap tactics like rehydration clauses and he's fought multiple fights at catchweights. And no the excuses comes from canelo fanboys, if he wins at 175 against bivol , he would be called the p4p and the best thing since sliced bread but if he loses he has a built in excuse of daring to be great and the weight was too much for him. The weight wasn't too much for him when he fought a washed up 38 year old kovalev, all I heard was praise then so why the excuses now?. That's why bivol wants the fight at 168 so canelo has no excuses and if he loses he loses all the straps, and canelo doesn't want to risk losing all the straps and getting exposed.
