After head injury I got minor fracture of optic nerve in left eye due to which I can't see anything in left eye currently I am undergoing treatment at Sankara Netralaya Hospital Chennai doctor said There is very little chance of regaining sight in the eye. I scan the internet nightly looking for any new research being done,In 2020 very recent trials by Harvard Research have found and are doing very sucessful experiments with optic nerve regeneration there first gen experiments were semi sucessful but with tumor related side effects but thier second gen experiments showed excellent results with no side effects at all,clinical trials of this procedure they said would not be to far in the immediate future you can read about it in the Harvard News Letter on optic nerve regeneration hopefully one day glaucoma will be a thing of the past,I can only pray,God Bless You and have faith
