Being able to adapt in the moment as well as make objective decisions on the golf course is the aim of the game. For our set up, using the feet (as our only connection to the earth) has it's advantages! Here's how we can optimise your golf swing path, your strike and low point (all in one) using the set up.

Made a 90 yesterday, never have been able to break 90. These have helped a lot. Was even able to cut a 3 wood on a dogleg right from 197 yards and end up 10 foot from the pin

@@seantaylor3244 cool to see the shot in your mind and the real thing looks identical. Just need to string a few more together

Hi Marcus. Good video although my wife would moan if I was playing golf on the beach as well. I’m struggling with this one. I get and understand this is on 3, I’m here. My question is are we drifting back somewhere from 2 to 3 and then flexing on that left side or is the flex and the drift forward is one on 3, at the same time? Feel free to point me to a video that answers this as I spend my days studying your videos ;-)

Thank you so much Marcus, after years of pointless lessons getting worse. I have followed your techniques and advice and have now broken 90 three times and had a front 9 of 39 at age of 67. Really enjoying my golf just wish it had been 30 years sooner. Thank you keep up the good work.

It appears like your head is in front of the ball, is that right or okay to do?

Love this video, it clearly explains what the body needs to do to strike the ball well. We all need to know the low point in our swing, and how we move to insure that we get there You’ve emphasized the all important mantra that “strike is king.” Will start practicing it today. Cheers

I struggle with this in my golf swing. When I try to correct this attack angle, the shank comes into play because I lead with the heel of the club. I shoot low 80's high 70's normally, but feel that if I can start consistently compressing my irons, I will start hitting mid 70s regularly.

Definitely your irons will improve a lot both in distance and in dispersion. I practice line drills and hitting balls off the baseball infield. It provides instant feedback. The only way you can hit it well is to strike the ball first with a descending angle of attack. Just be careful if the sand gets s hard packed and dry in the summer. Also great for keeping your head more centered. Try it you won't be disappointed!

I believe all mid to high handicappers can improve their strike immensely using the line in the sand drills. I use a baseball infield to practice low point when I know I'm playing a good course with tight lies. Gives you a lot more confidence and ball first contact. I would say most amateurs would e better off on flat lies setting up with more weight on the front leg/foot than 50/50.Helps prevent a sway as well.

We have placing during the wintertime here and you're right we place on a nice fluffy lie almost like a tee shot, does this apply to hybrids and woods off the deck?

Its right about where the first layer of ice sits. Not all of us can pop off to warmer climes, mate.

Who else wants to go to the beach or at least a sand volleyball court with a golf club after watching this?
