Best quotes of Optimus Prime in this movie: "I'm going to take back Scourge's key, and then… take off his head!" 😡😡😡 "Time to show you the real POWER OF A PRIME!!!"
I disagree. My favorite Optimus Prime quotes in this movie are: "Please, Noah." "I'm sorry, Noah." "On my homeworld, we believe that the battle with darkness will continue 'till all are one. I lost sight of that. You fought for yours, as I fought for mine, when we should have been fighting the darkness together." "He is not alone." "Bee, protect them." "Thank you, my friends." "Let me go, Noah! Save yourself!" Basically, I like anything revolving around Prime's compassion and his character development. Sounds to me like you prefer Prime's brutality, and that's fine. I'm just stating my personal preference.
I love this movie! First Transformers movie in 5 years since Bumblebee. Peter Cullen came back to voice Optimus Prime again. The Maximals' first time on the big screen. I really enjoyed it!
I wasn’t sure about this design when I first saw it but it has definitely grown on me a lot it adds a good amount of changes by adding more vehicle parts in a clever way while still having almost the exact same design we got from the BB movie.
I know we can always go back and listen to everything Peter Cullen voiced Optimus Prime in, but doesn’t it feel amazing to hear him do Optimus in something new?
It's funny how Optimus is criticizing Mirage for not staying hidden when Optimus first transformed in this movie in a bus parking lot where anybody could have just been walking by and seen him, same thing as with him transforming 20 ft from inside of that building. And absolutely not criticizing Stratosphere
What made the Bumblebee movie so endearing and special was the departure from the tired Bayverse destruction and designs and back to a G1 feel with the characters. This is an immediate step right back to Bay. Hell, they make it seem like it's actuallysome forgotten prequel or something in the Bay lore. It's just all over the place. Mcguffin, Rage Prime taking faces and heads again, picking up Unicron again after the incomplete telling from the disastrous The Last Knight, and even down to the Autobot score from the Bay movies at the end. Just not what I hoped we'd get after Bumblebee.
I'll start by saying it's totally fine to dislike this film. I'm simply expressing my opinion, and I don't want you to feel like I'm trying to invalidate yours. I loved this film. It's my favorite Transformers movie. It's flawed, for sure. There are plenty of things I would've tweaked. But, overall, it was a solid film, and managed to improve on many issues I have with the Bayverse. While this film has elements of the Bayverse in it, I wouldn't say it feels like a long lost prequel. It feels inspired by the Bayverse, but in no way did it feel to me like a Bay movie. It's missing many key factors that make a Bay movie a Bay movie, which makes it a major improvement. It doesn't objectify the women. Hell, Arcee is finally a character (Bay *really* didn't want to use her). Outside of one or two jokes, it isn't racist. It actually has something it wants to say, which I definitely can't say for The Last Knight. I'll give you the McGuffin and Brutal Prime points. Brutal Prime was the biggest letdown for me in the theater, and it's still my biggest complaint with the film and one of the many things I'd tweak. As for Unicron, I kinda disagree. Unicron in the Bayverse was the Earth's core, much like TFP. In RotB, the entire point is to keep him away from Earth, and they succeed. I can see where you're coming from, though. Again, I don't want to make you feel like I'm trying to invalidate your opinion. It's fine to dislike RotB. Even *I* think it can be a lot better. And while I, personally, prefer RotB over Bumblebee, I *will* admit, Bumblebee is the *objectively* better film. I just wanted to have a friendly discussion about why I love the film. Hope you have a good day!
Oh yeah, forgot to mention I hate Wheeljack and Stratosphere designs. Those definitely feel Bay-esque, and it frustrates me that they decided to go for them.
@@catchannel1484 tbf for brutal Prime, at least the film actually points out this isn't normally how he acts, and that being stuck on Earth for 7 years combined with Bee's death is making him act this way. Even Peter Cullen said this was his most enjoyable and favourite live action Prime to play even after he complained several times about Bay Prime's writting.
@@mindwars101 I agree. I remember seeing this in the theater and being disappointed in Prime for the first half. Then the Maximals show up and we see him starting to change. And then we got the line, "He is not the Optimus Prime I imagined." It felt to me like the writers were saying, "We know this isn't Optimus. Just give him a minute, he'll get there." Still, I would've preferred if he hadn't done a Mortal Kombat fatality in the end.
Megatron: I am coming for you Optimus...Cybertron has died because of YOU...I know where you are...when I come to you...I will drain this pathetic planet's energon resources to re power Cybertron to it's former glory...never again will...we feel homeless...our race will SURVIVE!"
Though this is a completely different continuity. Because Prime does not trust humans earlier in film & yells at Noah, Had me thinking are Autobots really the good guys? because Optimus Prime was saying harsh things about human beings. Are autobots factually good or because they are a Separate Faction of Cybertronian, They have no intent of being good?
I have a theory on why Optimus didn't trust humans earlier in the film:After he learned that Shatter and Dropkick manipulated sector 7 to help them transmit a message to the decepticons, he feared that all humans were manipulated too and would seek to capture and experiment on them.
I mean yeah, why not trust someone who literally worked with the faction you're fighting with (As long as you remember BB movie). And he did mention that Charlie was an exception.
@@illyanesterenko8930 Which is probably the more reason Optimus would probably agree to work with G.I. Joe cause for what we know they seem more trustworthy allies to the Autobots than Sector 7.
This Optimus Prime is just like his Bayverse counterpart, after the battle of Chicago, combined with Ichigo from Bleach & Nick from Power Rangers Mystic Force. I would love to see how that Dylan guy from Dark of the Moon would react if he ever messed with this Optimus.
1:50 This line makes no sense. He spent a majority of his life fighting a losing battle and only held off Seeker Grunts, and is surprised he's getting beat. Know what would have made more sense? If they didn't cut Transit from the film, and implying any threat that's come to Optimus's doorstep ended up in a river. That's why you make sure your test audience aren't a bunch of pussies. Prime ripping off Scourge's head is fine but dumping some Cons in a river is too dark. Okay. Lmao Also this transformation 1:28 has to be the worst in the franchise. Which is weird because his entrance scene was animated pretty well. I guess they rushed the studio.
For our sins we deserve eternity in hell, but God loves us so much he came as Jesus to pay the price of our sins through living a perfect life for us, his death and his resurrection so we can be forgiven and receive eternal life if we follow and obey him in faith FOR LIFE , Jesus loves u and desires to have a personal relationship with you of love, peace, redemption and obedience ✝️ May Jesus bless you, repent of your sins and turn to Christ before it's too late 🙏🏿❤️❤❤❤
They arent capable of making a good transformer movie. I gave up hope after dark of the moon. Even this new direction sucks. I watched Bumblebee's movie but had 0 hope for it & it was pathetic. It just got worse it seens
They just.....cant make a good transformer movie. Why? Why is this so hard? Make them look G1, have a good plot, stop creating new characters that arent necessary considering you have plenty originals to choose from, stop having the cheesy, obnoxious "humor" (its awful) & for the love of God.....make a story that actually makes sense. This movie is as big of a mess as the others.
