Yeah and when prime was ambushed you can see shatter and considering that shatter and dropkick are a package deal you can assume dropkick was there as well
@@khaitong3468 There's a theory going around that he might get rebuilt as a triple changer with Shatter and Dropkick acting as split personas in addition to Blitzwing's.
I definitely LOVE what they did with Dropkick’s weapon. His cannon is literally a liquefier/liquidator that turns people into a grey goo. Reason why is because back in the 80s, many alien comics and cartoons portrayed alien guns on liquifying people. That’s just an amazing detail
Your comment leave me a question, those OG alien movies is all about invasion, means they prepare against human, organic creatures, living things, so that their weapons can affect to human's structure, im curious how Dropkick's weapon affect to their kind ?
@@GundAme412 it’s probably has to do with the water composition (70%) and other fluids within the body. It could brute force the body to spontaneously convert people into water.
Not only that but the movie's main intended audience is kids and teens so it's obvious they can't have a Transformer blast a human into bits and pieces violently, with blood and guts everywhere lol.
The whole fight between Dropkick and Bumblebee was so cool because they actually incorporated transforming into their fighting. Using the momentum of driving to transform into a punch or driving up a ramp to get into the air and transform into a heli is something the bayformers didn't really do. They may well have just been normal people punching each other.
Man, I wish Dropkick (in land vehicle mode) used his momentum to speed off a ramp, transform into robot mode, and actually dropkick Bumblebee. That would be so dope. What do you guys think?
Bumblebee transformed to dodge Sentinel's attack (around when Sentinel says "Decepticons, trigger the pillar").. this is the only time I remember where they utilize their transformation to dodge in Bayformers HAHA
Transforming on camera costs money. Those Bay movies were like the Jurassic Park movies, just good enough to get that common folk of the land level of watchable. Anyway here is a bunch of confusing slash cuts of light and sound!
@@radicularchaos3071 First fight on screen, at least. They still beat Cliffjumper. Even then, they had way more personality in the screen time they had than even decepticons like Shockwave or Soundwave in the Bayverse. Most decepticons in the bayverse are just generic, monster-like, growling and spewing spit everywhere like savages
Only thing that sucks about them is that they are basically Decepticon drones 🙄🙄 with personality…. Wish they didn’t die so easily (coughs “Blitzwing” coughs)
"Why aren't you fighting?!" I noticed that even though Dropkick is a brute type, he is not a wild animal like the cons in Bay's movie. He knows what autobots are capable of, especially someone like Bee who is a scout and close to Prime. So he finds satisfaction in knowing that he can best them in a fight
It’s no fun going into a boxing ring and the other guy just sit there and take hits like a sandbag. And before anyone say “But he killed that defenceless human guy”, nah, you don’t expect any fun from stepping on an ant either.
2:53 "how kind of you to finally allow us in." ...*rolls eyes* For a Decepticon without a mouth or much facial expressions, this guy has to be one of the greatest decepticons with actual characterization and personality
I love it how they transform into a air vehicle and then into a car. That’s so badass. Something that the Bayverse never did which was a huge disappointment
@@dracodracarys2339 yeah, if Blitzwing was Triple changer like G1 show, Everyone couldn't get Confusion that Blitzwing is Starscream when people first saw Blitzwing died from Bumblebee but instead they thought it was Starscream, people were/would be shocked and screamed in cinema theatres 😂
What I like a lot about this movie is how they showed individual lower ranking decepticons can still be serious threats and not mindless canon fodder in the bay movies.
Dude Cliffjumper has only died twice in visual media, Prime (because the Rock only did 1 episode) and this movie and once in the comics IDW. He was alive in Animated, but didn't make an appearance in Cyberverse and yet to appear in the new show.
I just noticed how when Dropkick powers up the tower, we can hear Starscream's cybertronian voice - I think that indicates they wanted to talk to Starscream since he was in charge of the Decepticons when Megatron went missing.
Holy crap the fights are so much better than the Bayformers ones. Creative choreography, can actually follow the fight without the need of unnecessary slow-mo, and actually using the Transformers... transforming ability. Love it. Hope the rest is as good too, I'mma check it out.
Lmao you can shit on bayformers on a lot of things but fighting choreography is not one of them. Plenty of times the autobots would transform while fighting, bee, swideswipe using weapons while in car mode, bee literally transformers while fighting sentinel, starscream using his hit and run tactics. Their fights are very much more realistic to how people in real life fight, flashy moves and extreme power behind their punches added although, this movie has good choreography but sometimes I feel like they add stuff for the kids, like how bee gets thrown by dropkick and transforms drives around and jumps back at him, super uncreative and looked super awkward. There some really good take downs by bee though. In this movie bee is more of a grappler, in bayverse he’s more of a brawler that can grapple, kinda like Connor mcgregor, and I guess in knightverse he’s kinda like habib. It also doesn’t help that bee looks so friendly like a child that chases butterfly’s when he’s supposed to be a scout in the autobots militia… but aight
@@scoobsshrooms109 The main thing here is not only how good the battle looks, the main thing here is that the viewer can normally see the battle and the Bayvers lose because I can't normally remember any battle from there at all, since their body is so fragile that when they turn somersaults, it already seems to you that they transform.
@@scoobsshrooms109 Oh yes, I forgot to mention the most important thing why the battles are not filled there, because the operator loves to shake the camera!
In G1 bee would often not only fight bots bigger than himself which was just about everyone by the way and win but would also think his actions through unlike some other versions of him and yes i am talking about the bay films i might have liked bees design in those but i did not like how they handled his character it was to different from g1 bee good but still different kinda glad most versions of him now are kinda a fusion of G1 and bay.
Seeing D-List Decepticons like Shatter & Dropkick have better characterization in these films than the likes of Megatron, Starscream, & Shockwave will never not irk me.
@@FalangeRevolutionary986 If you enjoy seeing Megatron play second fiddle (and not in a way that’s cool) 4 out of 5 movies to characters who are all well below his stature, sure.
@@PoIarisPrime He means Megatron is delegated to playing the secondary antagonist role after the first film. The following films had him serve or be second to main antagonists like The Fallen, Sentinel, Lockdown and Quintessa
I think Shatter was better because she only kills humans when they interfere or attack her. And Dropkick was more of an ass because he kills humans whenever he feels like it.
They both pretty much represent what a decepticon is. Shatter shows to be deceptive, cunning, and manipulative. While Dropkick takes on the violent brute type seen in just about every decepticon in most continuities but still sees the advantage in getting his mission done in tracking bee with human help.
In every other continuity the decepticons were never beasts that speaks an alien tongue, they're often savages yet also sophisticated enough to complicate the autobot's daily life into a hellish nightmare
@@bowserfriend i hate to correct you but your wrong its only in the Bay films that the cons behave more like savages in G1 they mostly ignored humans or out right worked with some of the nastier ones.
You're joking right? They are highly intelligent. You think doing a quick scan of the planet or even its many many floating Space Stations/Satellites didn't give them any information about our planet?
You also gotta love how Bumblebee deals with Dropkick. He can't match the larger Decepticon pound-for-pound since he's a smaller scout unit, so instead he engages him into a running battle where his faster speed and agility give him the advantage. And when he does need to score a heavy hit, he uses his vehicle mode to build speed since, even though he is smaller, he still weighs *a lot* and is not someone you want flying in your direction with their full weight behind him.
Lmao anytime their interrogations ended up working it's cuz they accidentally forced a transmission out of their target by just beating the shit out of them. Imagine punching someone so hard their kidneys ended up snitching out government secrets.
