+Nathan Terrell I couldn't agree more about the simplicity of controls but yet you can get almost any tone out of it. Built in reverb would be nice but I just use the effects loop with a stomp box reverb unit. Sounds great!

Higher gain settings at lower volumes is fizzy.. At the lowest wattage setting a decent tone/volume is good but a 4x12 produces too much bass for apartment living...But when you can really crank it, you don't even need much gain to get massive articulate madness....After hearing it cranked it will always sound terrible at low volumes..haha...I love this thing.. I've had mine for one year now. It's lasted a year of tour every weekend for a solid year so far.. The only complaint that I have is that the input jack washers are plastic and mine have either broken or they slip.. I've slowly been replacing them with metal ones..... Otherwise....... Great amp..

i run mine with Marshall 4x12 lead ,i hate orange cabs. marshall gives "clearer tone"

No, the TH30 has 4 EL84's in the power section, the TH100 has 4 EL34's.

+Khairul Azlee There is more than enough gain for any kind of metal you could imagine. Also, there are great videos on here about boosting an amp with a stomp box. If you search "rig rundown" you will see all of your favorite musicians use pedal boards. Why? Because they boost the sound of the amp. Grab a tube scream, turn the gain down almost completely and run it through the fx loop. Your dirty channel will melt faces!

I own the TH100 and it's a VERY loud amp. Period. Even when using 2 tubes at 1/2 power, it's still VERY loud.

My th100 certainly feels like the clean is far louder than the dirty channel lol

cab is isolated in a separate room/booth where it's mic'd. if the cab was underneath the head he would be bleeding from the ears for sure lol

you wouldn't think about the pedals until you actually try them in the effects loop. I have a Boss Flanger, a TC reverb, and an MXR carbon copy delay. they sound awesome through this amp. I also have an MXR eq that I can dial in a nice brown sound by removing some of the lows. This effects loop LOVES pedals...
