I have the Orca Carbon, nice buying experience and great customer support. I got a performance model on pre order, just got email that is ready for delivery.
I got both carbon and performance. Battery not degrading at all, interestingly the battery consumption seems faster on the first half than after. For example we go as far as we can to the sandbars with 60% left to have enough to comeback. When we return it consumes half. Max range I tested with several stop and go was 32 miles. Easy maintenance, hopefully they’ll survive bankruptcy.
@@owentrout390there was pollution mining the lithium and cobalt for the battery. “Green” vehicles are maybe 15% more green when compared to normal vehicles. Cute idea, but the 2 hr range absolutely kills it. Wow, for that price give me the Seadoo Fish Pro maxed out. Crazy.
@@994XpI’m glad you’re such an environmentalist. I’m sure you’re full of comments that are pro environment and not just anti-EV because your cult political party told you to be. To be clear, I’m saying I’m sure that’s the case. Go environment! The reality is EV is just better and it will take over ICE because of convenience. 2 hours of non-stop riding is plenty, you then just plug back in at your dock with a L2 (bigger boats do this all the time), have some lunch and you’re back at it again. Just drain and dry for the winter, super easy “winterizing”. No more runs to the gas station hauling tanks to the lake and spilling gas on the water.
@@ChitFromChinolaWhy do you pretend to care about the environment? Non of us do. However this thing is so much more convenient that if I had to pay to cut down a rainforest tree, because to make the batteries requires tears from a toucan, I would definitely still buy one. And there would be a line behind me. ICE is just a pain to run and maintain.
