The derbies just keep on coming, viewer. Despite weather forecasts promising a total washout, we managed to get a match in - and it was a belter!
Wheatley were looking to dodge a third defeat in a row and our visitors, local rivals Bridon, were aiming for a fifth-straight victory.
Pecky managed to (just) get back from a raucous fam jam in London the previous day to croak through the joyous return of Jonny Loates, a magnificent century stand and more sightscreen drama!

Classic mellifluous commentary, Mr. Peck, as I vicariously live the Wheatley Cricket life from t'other side o' pond. The dynamic partnership of Munch and Loates, which eerily sounds like an 80's pop duo, really did a great job. Also, thanks for taking the time to edit these vids. Very appreciated from my cricket infused bunker in San Diego

Munch and Loates sounds more like an exploitative song writing and production duo. Chewing up and spitting out plaintive starlets for their own ends.

Hello Pecky - greetings from Poland. Absolutley brilliant! Jonny and Munch were spectacular. 87 by Jonny after a year out? Munch's 50 was worth its weight in gold. I was very impressed with Wheatleys fielding and bowling. Full of enthusiasm despite injuries, damaged sight screen, inclement weather and too many extras. A fabulous victory - well done evryone.

Wow, did i enjoy that. Bruno is forgotten. Johny Loats and Munch put paid to that. What great hitting from them and George at the end. Probably one of Wheatley best wins considering those conditions and the Yorkshire wind and rain. Brilliant that you finished the game. Munch in his short sleeves also. Tough up there. Thanks James for the brilliant coverage and commentary, plus as a so called southerner you also teach us some of your great Yorkshire tongue lol. Enjoy your p#ss up next weekend

Clearly Callum H. and Munch are your best bowlers, if you take into consideration economy rate and fewer extras conceded. 9 or 10 extras in 14 overs is shabby, really, even if they come with 2 wickets. And the incomparable Munch, ably assisted by Loates, saved your bacon :-) Well done!
