I always love seeing your preserved food , you make them look so inviting and beautiful that no decorations are necessary. 🥰 I just bought in the first peaches off our one producing tree yesterday. They are very nice but I'm learning on that tree anyway, while our orchard grows up . This morning I'll peel, pit and put ghem in the slow cooker with spices and sugar ,then bottle them up. It makes acceptable peach butter . I got my first 3 big zuchini yesterday, so I'll scoop them out and stuff them as zuchini boats for dinner tonight. Yum. Thank you for sharing lovely ❤

What a great crop of garlic! I have heaps of zucchini too, this year I am going to use some to bottle “faux pineapple”.. will be a good way to use it up later in the year in cakes or on top of pizza.

I would love a mulberry bush, but I don't have the room in my backyard. However, I do have a blueberry, raspberry, and a boysenberry bush. My do loves eating my strawberries and raspberry, and my raspberry are so small that they are cute.

Hi Elissa, I've missed a few of your videos again RU-vid doesn't like adding you to my list 😕 anyway first year we got a great harvest from our plum tree, I made jam for the first time also am making some kumbucha and make home made bread which I do twice a week my pantry is similar to yours it's well stocked but I'm a beginner when it comes to preserving out veggies have done well except for the tomatoes, the apple tree I'll be dehydrating lots and stewing some with rhubarb. Hope you're well love and hugs Kirsten xx

You have come such a long way in your preps. Your hard work pays off! Everything looks great. In a couple more years your garlic is going to be the size of pumpkins. You will have to enter them in a contest at the County Fair. ;) Who is the black cat? I haven't seen that one before.

Hey Hoot, so lovely to see you! The black cat Jinx is my daughter, Niki’s addition to the homestead. She is fitting in very well. Sadly Jasper passed away in 2020 at 17 years and he will forever be a wonderful memory for our family. He had a great and long life. I’m already thinking about where I’ll be planting my garlic In the Autumn.😆 Hope you are well 🦉

Its possible to make garlic pickle. It is very healthy. If you can take spicy pickles you must try to make Kerala garlic pickle. It is a south Indian garlic pickle. You can find the recipe in the internet. :)

Where do you get the jars with the glass lids? I love those. I would mostly dehydrate things, but I don't really have experience doing anything yet. This is going to be the first year of me starting a garden, so I have a lot of ground to cover before I get to preserving and storing.

Can you share the link to the place from where you bought your dehydrator?
