@@kashiraenightcore8722 foggedftw also makes a big effort for people learning trynda. But u won't learn what you really need from the low elo stomper type of youtubers. On coach Curtis tho, we learn more than just matchups and mechanics.
@@kashiraenightcore8722 He does, I watch his video sometimes even tho I dont play akali lol..But this person seems quite informative too with different champs it seems
Honestly so true, wish there was more quality in depth content on league. Curtis and Saber make the best vids that's a fact. The rest are just clickbait "HOW TO HARD CARRY WITH X" and it's just a 20 minute game where someone popped off and it doesn't even explain the reason behind any of the decisions being made.
I'm actually so grateful that I came across this channel as a mid laner. I can't believe someone is putting so much detail and care into guides. Thank you so much ( ˙˘˙ )
PERFECT TIMING CURTIS!! I've decided to main Orianna, Galio and Irelia, and you provide these videos within what, a month? You are a great source of inspiration. I havent even seen the video yet, but I know it will be great. Cheers!
I've watched this about 10 times, and I seriously get so much from each rewatch. Amazing breakdown, amazing perspective, amazing teacher. The community is lucky to have you, Curtis
This has got to be the best guide to Orianna I've ever seen - as an aspiring Orianna OTP trying to climb the ladder, the amount of tips, tricks and insights packed into this guide is outstanding. After just watching the first 30 minutes I can already tell that I play Orianna too slowly (Pase rush, gathering storm, presence of mind and coup de grace). I love how much passion and excitement you clearly have for this champion, and it is infectious. Your tightrope analogy made me want to immediately jump right into a game and give corrupting pot + inspiration another shot! Bravo, Coach. I can't wait to check out the rest of your guides.
I have been more or less maining Orianna for a long time now and even so this video helped me understand little things that I didnt know before, awesome guide and thank you very much! Also while we're at it your Viktor guide hugely helped me pick that champion up and I have the highest winrate on him now! :)
The very only Orianna guide you'll ever need! It also made me understand better how to manage my champion pool according to the teamcomps' paces, but I first I feel like I'll have to onetrick to fully control all the details.
Holy crap these are the kinds of guides I'd like to see all around for all champions and roles. I adore it, a true lesson instead of the usual 1 match gameplay videos many other 'guides' have to offer.
Curtis, just want to say that your videos have completely changed how I look at and play league. I started playing about 3-4 months ago, and I’ve been able to get into silver. Your videos are the most thoughtful videos I have ever seen. I also appreciate that you don’t use the prescribed “make money on RU-vid” formula that dominates this platform. You’re truly a man of the people. Besides that, you just seem like a friendly dude, and I always enjoy taking my lunch break and watching some of your guides. Keep it up man. 👍👍👍
Fantastic video! I really appreciate you adding a section on what Oriana doesn't like and how to play against her. Thanks for the great content! And thanks for listening to the comments and constantly improving
I have never left a comment on a RU-vid video but the level of thought put into making this one has forced my hand. Amazing and extremely informative content. Keep it up!
Here is the 1 problem I have with this guide, its an amazing guide and made me realise alot of things that I was doing/ not doing and made me see the differnces that i can put in. Maybe someone can give me some clarity. Now why do you always opt to fully build out your morellos out of oblivion orb. Like orb gives you so much, but morellos is so situational. If you are snowballing really hard, getting an orb and sitting on it for 20mins to me is totally justified. You dont HAVE to build it out if youre are facing a comp where you dont need the antihealing. You can jist sell the orb if it takes space for an item or something and dont need the antihealing. Forcing the morellos after orb is really not practical in a lot of situations. When buying orb can be so good still, it provides so much. Even if it is only a component of an item. Love the guides man, dont ever stop.
I just picked up Orianna and this is by far THE BEST guide for someone who is just about to learn and transition into mid lane. Thank you so much for giving us this chance to learn.
@@CoachCurtis Well after playing a few games with Orianna tonight, I transitioned from doing only 15k damage in a game to having a game with 74k damage. This is all thanks to your detailed guide! I could not be more greatful! :)
I managed to get to P1 by myself by literally just going rambo with Orianna always going ignite and going for 1v1's early. But after watching this video for the first time like 3 weeks ago, I've managed to make it all the way to D2 because of all the tips and tricks in here that I had no idea about. I always went ignite and never understood the usage of teleport since I'm not very good at finding good places to TP, meaning I'll just sit there with my TP most of the time midgame not using it. But now I use it in the laning phase alot more and I'm always ahead in levels and I get my Luden's pretty quickly which gives me a huge advantage. I'd really like to thank you for this video it really changed alot and if you have a patreon or something I'll gladly donate :)
Curtis this is what I needed. My Ori gameplay has stagnated this season and I haven't been able to pinpoint anything in particular. My recent winrate after watching the video has greatly improved, love the content keep it up!
Good to see another OCE player, you kept my attention the entire time. Very clear teaching style. Your best video guide to date. As someone who plays alot of jungle as well, its good you added a section about it.
The very Best Orianna list I've found out there!!! Complete, the Mindset thing is SUPER important. YOU ARE AWESOME THANK YOU FOR THIS I AM A NEW ORIANNA PLAYER SINCE.
I've been trying to role-swap from support and Orianna is one of my favorite champs (as well as Taliyah/Leblanc). This was super helpful for more than just Orianna. I've been loving your videos.
Thanks for going in-depth on the rune pages and why you choose them! As a fairly new player, rune pages have constantly boggled me. I wish more people in their streams and videos explained the runes that they chose for each match-up/champion and WHY. You explain things so well and if you ever do a video on JUST runes, and how they operate, that would be amazing!
Im so crazy binge watching your videos all over again because of how quality content i find it to be. I love how you explain everything its so funny and interesting at the same time hahahah thanks for the great content damn i love rewatching your videos its like a movie
Wow i've never seen such detailed and in depth guide for any champion! Most "guides" on youtube are just smurf clips when sb goes 10/0 and gives one or 2 tips . Keep up the good work sir.
Time codes look really awesome, appreciate it. It's nice to see how you improve your skills as youtuber and as gamer permanently. Keep watching, thanks for your work
I'm so happy that you used Orianna VODs in your "How to counter Zed" video. Time to try and climb with Orianna. She feels slow and relaxed to me, but I realise her high potential.
I used to play a lot with Ori in seasons 3, 4 and 5, but the meta shifted to more roaming-oriented champs, so I changed roles and switched between maining Jinx and Kayle until this season. With the arrival of Clash I went back to play as Ori with my team and remembered how awesome it was to hold my R until the perfect moment haha. After watching your very well made guide, I will try to main her again. Thank you very much for the thorough explanations!
I can't thank you enough for this kind of video. This level of guide on your strategy and understanding of Orianna is a lot more than what we could've asked!
I really like the HOW TO COUNTER section of your video. It definetly adds more depth to your guides altough up until now i did not think that this was even possible. I usually watch your videos because even if i dont want to play all the champs you do guides on, I still learn so much about leage and laning in general that it helps me improve my own gameplay. Explaining how to vs certain champs is definetly a very nice addition. Anyways great video as per usual. Keep it up ;)
Enjoyed seeing this as I had a bad time on ori before. Good effort into explaining runes, item curve and match ups. Testicular God for showing yourself feeding but seriously it was great how you explained differentiated situations in which orianna would do well vs wouldn't scale and showing how a difficult come back would look which is more realistic for us as opposed to simply stomping.
Usually high elo players try to keep their secrets as a magician does, you are really generous doing this man. My learning progress it has become suddenly exponential after 7 f****ing seassons, so much to learn. Cheeeers!
That is the best informative league of legends guide I have ever seen! Please use this format(slides first, VOD's after) on your guides! You are amazing coach!
Curtis, I've been watching your videos for about 2 weeks now and I have to say I've seen a massive improvement in my play! I've ranked up and it doesn't feel like I'm just jumping on the meta for free lp but actually improving. I would like to say thanks for your amazing videos and would love to see you do a Lissandra guide! Thanks again and keep the great content coming!
Watched this vid. Played orianna with these tips (I’m a orianna main). The difference in how laning phase went this time versus any other time 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙀. It was wonderful
I swear man, you set a very new, much higher standard on educational League content on this platform. And its so fun to watch you having a blast teaching us all the stuff you learnt! Keep it up!
Man you improved this video drasticly. How to counter, item jouney. Identity. It’s so AMAZING! This is just a amazing guide. Those 30/20 min guides are shit compared with this. Wow, wow, wow.
I really like the first 50 minutes of explaining the champion before the game play. Enhances the learning by 100 fold. Id love to see this for ekko and sylas
As a jungler I really wanna know all about mid. By this I can setup better plays and understand in-depth decision making around matchups. Thank you for the vid :)
Honestly, I keep getting back to league just cause youtube content is highest quality. :) Thanks coach!!! :D I hope we can get a video that run downs new items or just tier list of sorts so we can get a better idea what to build and when. :)
This is how you know its league of legends, my man said that he loved spellbook in January but because of meta its just a utility rune, sad...But i'm grateful you made this video's for up to 2 hours, amazing, hugely unrecognized
Thanks for the amazing video! I normally skim through these but I watched yours all of the way through, even rewinding to review some concepts. Your explanations have an extremely good level of depth and I feel like I learned a lot.
Hi Coach, I am a new LoL player. After having played all roles and lanes, it quickly became clear to me that I enjoy playing mid the most. Since then I've been searching a lot for guides, but I'd say its rather hard to find good ones that aren't outdated - until I stumbled upon this channel. Absolutely amazing work - in depth and very clear, just stunning. Personally I enjoy the champion guides the most - the Azir guide was really helpful, as I was struggling a lot with his builds, but your clear build paths and explanations helped me a lot in understanding itemization correctly. For one, I also decided to grab Galio after one of your videos. Now lo and behold, I find TF and Orianna guides (champions I was getting interested in) here as well. Looking forward to seeing them. With that said, I wanted to ask if you could consider making an Aurelion Sol guide. Personally, it was one of the champions that appealed most to me aesthetically (he is a cool champion, gotta give him that) but although I thought I was decent on him, I never managed to have a huge impact on my games. Besides doubting my own skills on him, I also doubted the champions viability (its no secret some champions are better than others) but on whichever thread I go, there is always at least one person swearing Aurelion Sol is some sleeper OP pick if you know what you are doing. Since you challenged yourself to play and learn Azir, maybe Aurelion could be a future challenge - maybe you could shed some light on the matter. Cheers!
hey man thanks for the kind words. Asol has always been decent in soloq due to high pressure style. It is a champ on my radar I will do eventually but I have a few others lined up in the mean time. Appreciate you tuning in mate
I've never played league, but I do watch a lot of content. This is the best guide I've seen thus far. If I ever start playing I'll definitely have Orianna and Qiyana as my main picks. Subbed.
i have been playing lol, casual, since S3, and now i'm just starting taking it seriously and ma maaan you are one of the best tutorials ever ! i dont want this channel to get known because they will get better and i wont get challenjour but i wish you the best ! Edit : i think you are the only one that i can pay for a coaching session !
Thank you so much for making a proper and helpful guide. When should I build seraph's embrace over luden's echo? And ty again I'm happy I came across this channel, I've learned a lot about league. Not just blindly following what youtubers build in a video.
Just tried Orianna for the first time after 5 years of playing League. I can't believe I never tried this champion even once, and never even happened to get Orianna in ARAM before. I love Orianna, and this guide plus your most recent video on advanced laning and harassing makes her SO FUN TO PLAY HOLY SHIT
I'm a top laner but I've played orianna in aram a few times and really like her. Her voice lines, animations, kit, "ball", ult, everything about her is so cool. However the idea of playing a squishy mage is very different than what I'm used to. And mid lane feels so different then top. In top were off on our own island free to punch each other in a nice long lane to run back and forth. Mid is so claustrophobic and surrounded by rivers/bushes I feel exposed and at risk constantly. Looking forward to watching this video and starting to learn about a whole new role/champ
Hey coach, thanks for this monster of a video! Have you considered doing a video on playing ADCs (MF, Trist, Kaisa, Ezreal etc.) In the Midlane? Just like the viability of it, best ways to utilise it, best times to pull it out, etc. Idk if you think it's a good strategy or whatever but it would be cool to hear your thoughts about it. You release nothing but quality videos, keep up the good work!
absolutely love how in depth this is! i filled so many pages of my notebook lol. Could you possibly do a very detailed guide like this for zoe? (i would really appreciate a matchup tierlist for her + how and when to build items)
I was main jungle gold elo last season and im swapping into Midlane role. I feel so comfortable with this champ and want to otp it. I truly love you dude this guide is on god level mode
Muchas gracias 😙😍I don't speak a lot of English, but i want to say tanks, with that video, i can learn about two things in the same time. English and orianna.
