Exactly man that's the biggest issue about the DE for me. The draw distance is so long you can see areas so far away from you. The original map felt so much more vast it was way more enjoyable to explore it.

Low draw distance amd foggy atmosphere gave a sense of illusion of Bigger map than it actually was now we can see the desert and mountains and San Fiero and Las Venturas standing in Los Santos tower This makes the world feel so small
Definitive version sure have some problems that needs to be fixed but imo people are being too nostalgic here and refusing to focus on pros of remaster.

Despite all bugs and problems they did a really good job on definitive Edition making the game looking modern. I really enjoy. But in SA there is less differences.
Yeah maybe because he’s running the old games in 4k on pc it’s not actually like that it’s been upscaled the ps2 version was in 420p you can’t run definitive edition 4k without being laggy so be quiet
According to me my Favorite Gta san Andreas original looks more colorful n beautiful while it's definitive edition is good but it looks dull n fade as compared to original one
Regards, excellent video and well, my opinion is that the grand theft auto is better for nostalgia and because many of us have grown up with the original graphics, plus the remastering calls for more than a wife lol new subscriber

Very well done video comparing the same places. It shows that higher resolution textures does not automatically mage better game. Of course there were good things too but at least half of the cases I prefer old. Specially that shiny building part - I really hoped to see some high quality mirror glass reflecting cars and other objects but instead got this ugly thing. That's the problem with every remake and every DE - people just cant stick to original style, there is always someone in every remake team who for some reason has be original.
People hate on the definitive edition, but those views are amazing to me, especially 4:36. People saying 'bring back the fog'... it wasn't fog it was bad graphics lol

Official PS magazine gave it 8/10 for graphics which was basically shit for the 10/10 game it was and shit compared to other top games of the time such as metal gear solid (which had some of the best graphics).

The only thing the Grove Street Games did really good is graphics on their theme and texture and detailing but other things are overall trash do you guys agree with me
Yep,the game is so rushed and just used for fast money grab. But the defective I mean definiteve edition has better aesthetics and textures but it has so many bugs and glitches.

the characters in the definitive edition look too much like pixar characters for me. the old models with new lighting makes them look weird imo. if the devs are gonna remaster the game, why remaster the lighting and practically nothing else?
I bought sealed GTA SA for PS3 recently. Probably one of the latest. It's a good addition for my small collection. It's the shame for Sony they didn't make the backwards compatibility with PS3 disks.
