Thank you for this guide. I've recently downloaded OSRS and returned to it with the group I played with back then! I've always been a skiller, so a guide on combat and quests is super helpful. I've never done Dragon Slayer and had to wait for dragon plate! The content and layout of this is superb, and helps me get the required steps done.
Something to note on radas blessing 4, you only need 90 slayer (boost with wild pie) not 95 as you only need to kill a regular hydra, which you can do off task, unlike the alchemical hydra
delay bandos chestplate until the very last item, gives nothing, costs money, torso is enough most of the time. And there are at least 5 platebodies with better defence stats than BCP as well :)
Small Correction: The ‘Helm of Neiznot’ is actually not a DPS upgrade over the ‘Berserker’s Helm’; they offer identical Stats apart from the Nezzy offering a +3 Prayer Bonus and also doesn’t give any negative bonuses to Range or Magic Attack. For Melee DPS purposes, it’s identical to the berserker helm but does offer a solid amount of additional prayer bonus.
I got my first full inv at Sarachnis! I had too leave the room after every kill to redoes and eat buttttt it’s a big improvement from days prior where I died too minions, now I’m just getting kc too get my 2.4m I spent on recovering my gear after I died back. Very excited too have a new boss under my belt and too have prayer switching getting easier so I can go and take on new bosses
You need DS2 for the Ferocious Gloves. Things to note from some feedback: Prims and Faceguard **could** take priority over BCP and tassets. Realistically, since both "groups" of items are almost the same price, they are interchangeable in the build path. Slight modification could be Prims > Faceguard > Tassets > BCP. I just put them that way because I like Bandos armor a lot more. Slight bias hehe. Leave your thoughts below :)
@@KaozOSRS I have barely used my Faceguard after getting it other than bossing, which you won't really do much of on the level you are recommending getting Face guard. Slayer helm and normal Neitiznot is better money spent IMO.
bcp should be last, it only gives defense over the torso. tassets have 1 str bonus over obby legs so not a huge upgrade. prims should take priority because they're useful in all cases (usable with max melee, proselyte, and void), then neitiznot, then finally bandos and avernic. advising bandos so early just because you like it personally is dumb to be honest. gonna lead new players astray
Jad is not that hard, the problem is that its so hard to train for Jad since it takes a considerable time investment to get there. Vorkath (non quest version) is way harder but I beat it before beating Jad since I could just die and try again 15 times in 1 hour.
@@underachiever8532 if you manage to sacrifice enough shards and bury enough bones, should take an hour - at max 2 hours Just remember to observe how your team is doing. If they are on the offense, gather shards and sacrifice. If they are being pushed to the defense, gather bones and bury them
My recommendation is to skip the dfs altogether since it's 1 strength bonus (which most of the time won't even give you a max hit) vs roughly 30 accuracy I'd also get a tentacle whip alongside your regular whip for high level content before getting ferocious gloves Bandos chestplate is literally useless, it's a 20m gp sink Get primordial boots before tassets because they're an accuracy boost AND have the same exact strength bonus as the tassets Primordials are cheaper than tassets aswell
DFS is worse DPS than a dragon defender in nearly all cases, even at Vorkath defender is the higher DPS choice. The only use for DFS is afking dragon tasks or if youre meleeing skeletal/ancient wyverns. I also think it would have been worth it to mention sidegrades, like hasta/lance and spec weapons, especially SGS and BGS/Dragon Warhammer/Dclaws. I got a lance right after getting ferocious gloves and amulet of torture and did not regret it. money from vorkath/KBD and slayer tasks helped my bank.
i went from 47 to 60 defence at the warriors guild. just get 65 att and str and then stay there til you get d defender. afterwards go do freminnik isles for the nezzy helm
How do you expect to get the money to afford the late game stuff? I am in mid to late game and most of my stats are in the 70s and 80s. I play daily and often. I must be doing something wrong because there is no way I can make millions to afford bandos.
Just buy the gear you can afford and keep training your account. Most of these items are pretty late game. If you want a couple of things to focus on that will get your account to a place where you’re making better money, train your slayer skill and do questing until you can kill vorkath
I feel yeah. It feels like mid level combat makes next to nothing in terms of money. I'm constantly broke and poor despite doing few hours of slayer each day, making 20k gp per hour at 56 slayer, whereas I can go charge orbs for 450k gp per hour...
Why not Barrows legs over Obsidian? Barrows seems to have more defence and Obsidian has a 1 str bonus, but which is worth it? Also, if you say barrows, which barrows? Anyone feel free to answer, thanks!
I don't get how the avernic defender is so low. It gives great stats and it's a better upgrade that d boots over primordial boots. It is a little more expensive that the primordial boots but not by much with today's prices.
honestly, I would say the avernic isn't worth it until getting a scythe or tbow since it's a pretty big money sink (thought not as much as it used to be) that won't help you with a rebuild later on but that's my hot take.
Hm. Surprised abyssal dagger didn’t make the list. Maybe it was more expensive a year ago? Just got mine for 1.7m and I’m staying in it for a long time.
Why did you skip over dragon chain/plate body? Straight from rune to fighter torso seems a lil bit of a stretch. Should be dragon chain at least in between those two. And obby legs over dragon platelegs??? Dragon legs are better stat wise. Not sure why you left dragon out of your lineup
Gotta be honest, I despise Barb Assault. Never have had the Torso on any account. I would rather make a Runecrafting Only UIM and train it to 200 mill xp without runecrafting pouches.
@@xEveNxThExOdds I do understand that, but the last I heard, in order to leech all 3 diary achievements, they wanted upwards of 150 mill … at which point anybody could go to the ge and snag the bcp, tassets, dfs, primordial boots, ammy of torture, and a dragonhunter lance, while still having a 25 mill cashstack.
What’s your opinion on full obsidian with b neck and cape? Lvl 80 combat and that was the first thing I bought when I finally became a member this month
you swap an obby cape for +2 stab and prayer bonus, losing +7-9 in all def stats and then upgrade it to a legend's cape that is still +2 shitter than the obby cape? WTF?
@@KaozOSRS Obsidian platelegs only give +1 strength. Torag's platelegs are 2x as good in pretty much every aspect in terms of defence. The defence advantage makes it worth it.
@@KaozOSRS to be fair, you’re the one recommending BCP before prims in this very video. You made the exact same decision as him by not going for the +1 str instead. Yeah, it might not technically be as optimal, but people can make choices for themselves and choosing to have one less str bonus than the maximum possible with your account doesn’t make you “wrong” in any way.
Not really. I wouldn't make a video on something I don't fully understand lol. I only use it on COX, TOB and Vorkath (range), don't know where else it can be used. I guess pking
the price for blade of sealdor is wildly incorrect. especially the corrupted version. this video must have been edited a couple weeks before it was posted? since may 30 they are sitting above 100m before corrupting, which costs somewhere between 15m-20m in itself.
It would have been nice to actually see the names of the items on screen ... I have no idea what you said at 4:40ish ... had to go to the Wiki and find the item. ):
hello Kazo , i quit rune scape 7 years ago i just back to the game i shocked that's everything is changed i can't play in my main acc in old school i have to begin from lvl 3 so.. please can you tell me what should i do or how can i play in my main acc in old school .. and thanks for your help .
Honestly there's no recent videos on YT about Elite Voids, and use of it. I think there's too much speculation about it, and they are underrated. Mostly at cox, main styles where player receives damage is Magic and Range, and Voids has super high magic and range defense compared to blessed d'hides and even full ancestral. I've done comparison of Full Ahrims and best in slot jewelry and Elite void, and there was only one max hit difference. Only full ancestral gave +2 max damage and more accuracy.
Don’t think you mentioned the tentacle whip at 75 atk, this should probably be before ferocious gloves and the faceguard. People dont like it because it degrades but it takes a lot longer to degrade than you think!
I swear people sleep on void, it's not _that_ niche. void melee's better than wearing nezzy, fighter torso, obsidian legs, and barrows gloves, the only downside is that it's got lower melee/ranged defence bonus
@@KaozOSRS Thanks for answering! I agree on twitch not beeing a good company, Im just annoyed about livestreams taking up alot of real estate where subfeed videos should be. I’m kinda sad to unsub just because of that. Well, maybe there will be a stream section one day :)
the time it takes to do quests is used better getting out of the mid game sooner....and getting better upgrades from the late game....making 5 extra melee str stupid...
The scythe is useful in a lot of places. Charged scythe: cox, tob, nightmare/pnm, pet hunting Uncharged scythe: slayer (bursting tasks, slayer (big monsters like bloodvelds or gargoyles), melee training in mm1 caves/mm2 caves
@@KaozOSRS uncharged scythe is pretty decent dps still, as long as it has a 3x3 target or multiple targets It's definitely not better than chinning or barraging, but it's a good alternative if you're looking to gain some melee exp I tried using a charged scythe with max strength and chally spec at mm2 caves and managed to break 200k exp per hour with ease (Mm1 caves might be even better?) I basically invented this method so it's never been covered by anyone before
Doing the price values only by thousands seems to add nothing but unnecessary conversions to the video. Overall I enjoyed the vid, but it makes a lot more sense to show 40m than 40,000K
@@hellenvanbergehenegouwen5080 Not at all especially since it's more expensive. A piece of barrows for your top armor slot should be a lot better at 70 when you get there. In the meantime, Dragon Chainbody might be a better option :)
