You forgot to mention that when you get 99 range, you can use Vorkaths head on the skill cape to get the same effects. If the cape is trimmed it is better in some situations than the assembler, as it has better defensive bonuses and a good prayer bonus.
As this is a ranged dps oriented video, prioritise Pegasian Boots over the Armadyl set. As its a +5 ranged attack bonus, where the Armadyl pieces give +3 per piece. Also the Pegasian Boots can be used during slayer, while the armadyl helmet cannot. Lastly, Pegasian Boots can be used with the Void set, making the purchase most useful.
couple of issues i had, firstly, the msb imbued is quite a bit better dps when training on most things you'll encounter before 75. also, when choosing the fury, dhide boots, and archers ring, the fury is the worst upgrade on the list by far. prioritize the boots for a +4 gain over the snakeskin, then archers ring for another +4. fury is nearly useless for ranging as offensively it's no different than a glory.
What I would change, is at 50 range, your main weapon should magic short bow (imbued). It gives.more DPS than crossbows. Crosabows has their use, but for general training amd slayer, magic short is best weapon until blowpipe.
@@KaozOSRS Crossbows are better for high defense monsters like dragons, but against most enemies msb has better DPS because of the attack speed. Not that it makes a huge difference since you should be getting blowpipe asap anyways
No worries! Honestly I never used them because I was always wearing a Slayer helm when training but running the numbers, Karil's seems slightly better in case you're ranging outside slayer.
The new bow does have a name and price and stats. It'll be the same price as the blade of saeldor. So buy it now if you think it'll get more expensive since it's already went up like 40m.

Thanks for the video. I've always used Magic Shortbow (i) + Rune arrows for low defense monsters like Demons rather than Rune Crossbow. Feels faster until I can afford acb
@@Ricardo_Rick ACB is armadyl cross bow. I'd recommend googling a dps calculator and putting your actual set up and levels into it and the monster you're wanting to kill, when I did this the msb(i) with rune arrows was better almost all the time
Not gonna lie, kind of awkward to make a 2021 range upgrade guide with huge changes possibly coming up to the range meta at any time. I know you mentioned it in the video but was it really worth it to invest the time into it right now? Ps: Yeah the mage on will be a very short one lol
Not that it's crazy relevant but f2p can't use yew bows unless I'm mistaken so thats a p2p upgrade also. Edit you're gonna have to reedit this thanks to the dhide modifications probably
I might do so later in the year. There are many new items that change the meta in the late/end game but hesitant on doing so because early and mid game are pretty much the same and I don't want to repeat half the video.
