sup daddyscape, i appreciate you sharing this method and giving the detailed explanation. I was killing kril with melee; arclight, karils, arceuus spells, sgs and was getting like 4 kills a trip but thanks to you, I can practically stay at kril for my entire greater demon task!! thanks again and don't forget to rotation round til big kril till sits down ;)
Daddyscape, my man, this is the only guide that worked for me, thank you so much! Icing on the cake was a nice hilt drop on the first kill with your method ;)
Really nice video. I got my bowfa yesterday and have been trying out many bosses with it. This guide came in very useful. Only managed a 6 kill trip first time but will get better. Thank you
Gratz on the bowfa! Yes it certainly opens up a lot of bosses for you! Glad the guide was of help to you! I’ve also done a bandos and Sara bowfa guide should you need one
@@Daddy_Scape after 60kills and 3 shards from Mr Gritch I got the Staff so I'm very happy. My slay task took super long so I'm not sure yet if I'll go back any time soon but we'll see. Anyways your tactic was great so thanks again for the vid!
I saw you in Priff this weekend and I took inspiration from the crystal colors you chose. I had no idea you were on youtube, too. I found this vid today only to realize you're literally the player whose crystal colors I copied 😂
Always have to go through hell when learning something, ofcourse my cannon despawns when i do it flawlessly so i stand there out of rotation like an idiot. Works like a charm though. Thanks for the guide
Is there a way to have the minions on shift-click attack than rightclick attack? I get 1-2 kills per trip, I am new to this method but I feel like the timing is pretty tight. Also when is it the best time to eat food? what darts do you use?
I don’t think there is mate im afraid, I did have a quick look myself, but couldn’t find a way to do it. Addy/rune darts are fine mate, you’ll have plenty of time to kill all 3 minions. With a bit of practice, you’ll have it down in no time I’m sure!
I think my method once mastered is more dps as you’re hitting the boss alot more. As with anything though, there’s no right or wrong way of doing a boss. Use whatever you’re most comfortable with 😃
Nice guide, since this is 4 tick would you recommend i do the 5:0 red x with tbow instead, or bowfa and 8:0 ( on task) Just learning this for a bit of fun
There’s probably not a lot in it, all depends what gear you have and what’s most comfortable for you. If you’re lucky enough to have a tbow I know I’d be using it myself 🙂
Take some combo eats whilst you’re learning and if you come out of cycle, I tend to run to the furthest marked tile away and then continue the cycle. 1 or 2 attacks and everything will all fall back into place. With time you’ll get a feel for it 😄
I don't mind getting hit by the minions often. I have a problem understanding when to click (as in what tile he is on) to not get hit by Kril. I can't figure it out with his true tile enabled. Any tips?
Have you done any bandos at all? If not, I’d head there first as it’s a bit more forgiving on timing. Once you have Bandosia mastered it won’t take you more than a few runs to crack the big Zamalam 😊
@@Daddy_Scape I haven’t done bandos just yet, I like the steep learning curve of the game. Jagex just has a nice way of screwing you on new bosses with their rng nonsense lol. I’m currently on task so I’ll keep pushing through, just that last bit of movement to learn! Thank you for the feedback.
Fair enough mate, you pretty much want to be attacking just as you land on the marked tile, as soon as you go to shoot you need to be clicking the next tile immediately after. It can be quite chaotic at first but you’ll have it down once you’ve practiced a little bit
Make sure to wear a ring of suffering to buffer your defence. Makes a massive difference. Yes it’s quite tricky to get used to the pathing and pace but once you crack it, it’s really fun. Possibly try bandos first as the rooms slightly bigger and you have a little more time between clicks. 😃
@@Daddy_Scape Appreciate the quick response. I might switch it up and give bandos a try. I’ve been using the suffering but not super defense pots - maybe I’ll try those and pray mage.
I don’t understand how I take so much damage from the minions within the first couple of seconds. Spend 10minutes getting a kill count, to get in there, maybe kill him once and then have to home tele
Are you using ring of suffering? I'd definitely recommend using that, also make sure you've either used super defence/bastion. Stick at it and it'll just click. You'll be doing it with your eyes closed before you know it.
It’ll make all the difference mate, that +20 in all defensive stats will see you right I’m sure! It took me a while to be able to get in and set first time round but once you’ve cracked it, it becomes really easy. Come back to me later and tell me how you got on!
@@Daddy_Scapemate I just did my first 5 kill trip using the ring! It’s made such a difference. Actually feel more confident and just getting my next kill count ready for another go
🤣 we’ve all been there mate. You’ll get the timing down with practice. Bandos is a lot more forgiving if you’re new to these methods as there’s a little more time between clicks. Albeit not much more! Hoping you crack it soon champ!
I’m not completely sure. I wouldn’t have thought so. It’s the same timer as when you set the full cannon up. How long is the timer for you when you put it down?
I can't tell why I'm failing to get him into the cycle. Your video is great, but this technique not worth the 5+ minutes of setup for a failed attempt where I have no idea what to do differently
You have to be tick perfect on nearly all of it. Once you master it though it’s like riding a bike. Try Sara or bandos first if you’re not super familiar with solo GWD. I’m sure you’ll have it down in no time with a bit of practice.
Thanks mate! It’s all just practice. Try bringing some tank gear in whilst you’re learning the pathing if you’re struggling. It’s like riding a bike once you get it down though!!
