How-to keep your clipper maintained, and how to break it, all in one video. It still works though. My suggestion is to have a very good C-clip remover tool. For some reason the audio is off a slight bit in spots, but it's hardly noticeable. I've never performed this maintenance before, but you'll hear me say a couple of things that might suggest I have, well I'm wrong, I haven't. Lol... lots of good info in this video. broke my case the exact same way when I was putting it back together after a thorough cleaning. got a replacement case for about 20 bucks I think. thanks for posting.

If this was done on a white piece of paper for a contrasting background it would be way easier to see detail. Great job though. Thanks!

to my thinking you don't oil the track as you call it, that grips the cutter and moves it. you oil the metal on metal areas

If I remember correctly, that piece that lays in the track holds the two blades tight together, while a plastic piece sits in the middle of the top blade and moves it back and forth. It felt like it didn't move the blade very well until I oiled it. It worked great afterwards. I haven't heard any bad news about it since, so I hope it's still working well. The manual wasn't too helpful about that I guess. Thanks for your input. I appreciate it.

@@ElectronicsEditor hmmm.... you have a point. i'll have a closer look. i'm going to strip mine down before the next cut. i didn't know about the small ball bearings, so thx for the info. your tool pins slipped out of the eyes, and when it expanded it cracked the body... correct? i'll be extra careful now. thx for the video

@@flyingnukes I would think if you put too much in, that when the unit gets warm or hot, it may start to leak grease out anywhere it can. Too much sometimes is just overkill.
