Hey, Mike, thank you so much for these exercises. I purchased my X3 in 2020 and love it. These variations add a layer of newness and fun to my routine. My complaint (and it wasn't just mine, other women have said the same), there just isn't enough booty exercise on the program. Dr. Jaquish showed a split squat without the plate and it's fine, but I'm a small woman, it worked my upper body more than my lower half. You've showed me a couple of single leg squats that have changed everything. EVERYTHING. Also, the triceps variations are really helpful. Can't thank you enough for making this video.

I appreciate these. I like doing the chest press and skull crushers more than the standing chest press/tricep press. The tricep press is really dependent on creating tension by stretching the band by pressure.

On a different note but resistance band related, I've found that the Clench mini bands (not the kind for around the legs, but are pretty much miniature versions of the full size) are great for adding resistance to the TG Fit. The perfect size to wrap one end around the leg and the other around the weight bar. Worth a try

Been using handles off Amazon I got like 3 years ago for shrugs and mix in with deadlifts, calf raises and bent over rows. Door hooks are great too for tricep push downs and lay pulldowns. Great video!

Thank you for the shout out for the X tricep set up. I have recently made a stabilizer board to go over the foot plate and with that board over the plate I have increased the range of the X3 deadlift using cinder blocks. And with the cinder blocks I’ve added hamstrings and a better calf raise.

What about using the squat belt for Glute Bridges. Speediance promotes using the weight/squat belt, because it is more comfortable. I think it work great for resistance bands too.

Great video. These exercises are pure gold. One question. How does one incorporate these into the X3 program. Do we add these on to the Push / Pull days or keep a separate day just for these? Would really welcome your suggestions and guidance. God bless you. Regards

I'm on my 12th week of X3. I definitely have noticed my back was not developing as much. After watching this video, I fished out my old pullup bar and used it for lat pulldowns. I also added facepulls. SO much better now! If I ever get the long bar there's a few other things I'd like to try out from this! I'm excited to get my squat belt this week and try it out without the bar. That looks like such an easy way to get in and out of squats/calf raises.

I agree, I think the main thing I’d express to people is not limit themselves if they need more and or have to accommodate certain exercises based on their goals.

I recently started doing the chest press and triceps press like you show on your back with the foot plate. it keeps a band with varying tension off my shirt or bare skin, and it stops the band from moving around.

Hey Mike, new x3 user here, Im 6"1 235, im kinda "wide" thwe short bar seems to hurt my wrists on pull exercises, do you thnk the long bar may help. Basically i need to get my hands further away from each other. Thanks if you can answer.

Bands supply too-little, (often zero), resistance at the crucially important beginning of a rep. If you love bands,(probably because of their easy starting point:.^), do what powerlifters do: Combine them with barbells, to get a good start and a good finish.
