Just bought one for this upcoming season. I've tricked it out to suit me and for winter camping on the lakes. Thanks for Sharing.

Any tips what you did for camping? I'm thinking I could probably get 2 cots in mine but will likely have to raise the legs and use the seat rail

I’ve done two gravity style chair recliners and that fits, probably 1 cot is only option just the way the sled tub is designed. Thanks for watching!

Nice review. I have the same Otter Lodge. A couple comments. Accessories: The nets offered by Otter are a great addition. I have both. They are great for storing hats, gloves, rags, small tackle boxes etc. Also, the hooks Otter sells in three packs come in handy for hanging items that ice fishermen are always using. Examples: Ice dippers, wet mitts, chippers for clearing ice from tip up holes, etc. I've found you can never have enough and I have a dozen. Regarding the quick release for the side doors. I've found they come apart to easily and are problematic when setting up and taking down the tent. My remedy was to remove the PLASTIC SNAP from the end of the movable pole. When removing the PLASTIC SNAP from end of the movable arm there is a 1/4" bolt that needs to be removed. The hole that bolt goes thru is about 1/2" up from the end of the pole. PS1: The PLASTIC SNAP is held in with the 1/4" bolt. PLUS it is a friction fit. Once the bolt is removed pulling it out may take some force. Remove the BOLT and BUSHING from both the connection at the tub and at the plastic attachment that is mounted on the horizontal arm laying on the snow. PS2: Removing the BOLT and BUSHING MAY require some force because it is pressed into the BLACK BRACKET that holds the poles. There is a "L" bracket bolted on the tub side that can easily be loosened or removed. The threaded end of the bolt can then be wiggled with pliers making disconnecting the press fit easier. RE install the "L" bracket to its original location and tighten the bolt that holds it in place. The holes from the removal of the BOLT AND BUSHINGS and PLASTIC SNAP ARE what I use to make a more permanent attachment. A 2" or 2-1/2" bolt fed thru the hole in the BLACK BRACKET that held the BOLT and BUSHING then, thru the hole on the end of the pole, then thru the "L" bracket, then a nut to prevent it from sliding out make a very positive connection. To make it easy to disconnect and move from one location to the other use a 1/4" HITCH PIN with a CLIP instead of a bolt and nut. It only adds about 30 seconds to the process of making the side doors accessible. And eliminated the hassles encountered during set up and take down.

Im on the verge of buying this and i’m just wondering if there’s enough room in the sleigh when the tent is packed to fit an auger, flasher, buddy heater, rods…

Hey yes I put the seats all the way to the back and it all fits in there just fine. Fish finder, hub, buddy heater w/20 pound tank, auger, etc. thanks for watching!

I normally put my auger in a sleeve then place on top of after folding down the Lodge. I then put the cover over it all.

That’s a great idea to make storing more compact, thanks for watching!

Where are the ice anchors attachments? Are they front and back?

There are no ice anchors for the otter flip over style houses, the hub style houses have them typically. Thanks for watching!
