I was just thinking about asking this very question

Mike Hosty is a local musician who wrote the song "Oklahoma Breakdown" that the podcast is named after. If you listen to it on another non-youtube platform, they cut to the song as a part of the intro. I guess they can't play it on RU-vid due to copyright permissions.

Michael Hosty wrote the song "Oklahoma Breakdown." His version is the original. He's a close family friend. The song plays in the audio version of the podcast. Unfortunately, despite having Hosty's permission to use the song, RU-vid flags the videos for copyright infringement if we put it in the videos and it's just too much of a pain in the butt to deal with.

Mike Hosty plays locally, and has for years. He’s one fine guitar/slide player. If you get a chance, I’d darn sure check him out,

I love them but don’t always get to watch until evening or the next day due to work day and Wed being church night.

@@stinkasscat it is if you are complaint about only 84 views and 8 likes when a lot of people are still at work when the segment is published. Not everyone has the ability to watch immediately. And yes, I am a subscriber and watch as many as I can.

@@judithbrown5949 Still makes zero sense. They knew OU was coming back in Nov/Dec which is the same school year now as then (OU still in the Big 12) and no one said anything about Green going to an SEC school that OU will be playing this coming season. So it makes no sense for OU to have to play by those rules until July, because SEC schools that are already there are doing it with former OU players. Like I said, make it make sense…..it does not. What’s going to happen from here on out is the Big 10 and ACC are going to start getting loaded with former SEC players and become the new SEC. Players are going to go where they are going to get paid and be able to play right away. Those other conferences have to be happy to hear that the SEC made that rule. I would be as well, if it was college football wide and not just the SEC. Players don’t care about the school they’re going to as much as they do about getting playing time and getting paid for it. I very well could be completely wrong and probably am, but who knows?
