OUAT: Wonderland (S01E01) - Down the Rabbit Hole
So this is a spin-off series from the original OUAT. The story starts off in Storybrooke (Second season of OUAT) with the Knave of Hearts being asked by the White Rabbit to save Alice.

What are your opinions on this spin off series so far?
Well, let's analyse based on its ratings first. According to Wetpaint (Weddell,2013), "Wonderland only garnered a 1.7 in the demo and 5.7 million viewers if compared to heir mothership show, OUAT, and their big debut in October 2011 - a 4.0 in the coveted 18-49 demo and nearly 13 million viewers." Of course Wonderland is also up for a very strong line-up weeknight programme such as The Vampire Diaries, The Big Bang Theory and The X Factor.
In terms of its content episodes, I am rather indifferent about it. I guess I just have to lookout for more of its episodes to make a better judgement. But I do love the dialogues between Alice (Sophie Lowe) and Cyrus the Genie (Peter Gadiot) as those are rather passionate. Jaafar (Naveen Andrews) was suppose to be a very dark villain but I don't really sense much of it in this premiere. Hah, and the Red Queen (Emma Rigby) was rather stoic and plain. As my only platform of comparison would be of Parilla's and Hershey's version of Evil Queen/ Cora, I think Rigby didn't even come as close. Perhaps, she has yet to warm-up to the role. (There're many netizens commenting on her "duck-lips" though. Hah)
But I gotta admit that what really put me off in awe is the rather sub-par CGI effects. I am really well aware that they have only a couple of weeks to pull off these CGI scenes but I would rather them not incorporate them and ruin the watching experience of the show. The CGI was rather poorly-made and rushed and I winced at every attempt of the effects.
Overall, I would give this show another shot as I could feel that there might be a promising storyline. I just really hope that this potential would not be fully overshadowed by the show's flaws. Thus, I gotta say that that was a pretty hard fall from that rabbit hole.
