The tablet we got from our carrier it’s much smoother than our old giant computer we had. It used to freeze every 2 mins hehe. I’ll check the brand when I get back in the truck later

I have fitted a plastic plate on the top of 5th wheel. Noore greace and dirty edges, frame and all around. Just a bid for inside where is a lock and that's it.

More-so out of Curiosity I have some questions. 1. Why Cascadia and not other options on the market? What didn't you like about the Volvo VNL860 or Western Star 5700xe? 2. Why an electric APU and not diesel? 3. Did you ever consider optioning super singles? 4. Did you get tire chains yet? or do you have auto chains? 5. so there is only 1 bed? weren't there often times you were both sleeping during a 34 reset or maybe if you didn't run a full 22 in a day and you both slept a few hours in the morning etc...? 6. Do you have any interests or desire in getting your own dry-van trailer? 7. Why didn't you get the Holland aluminum no-lube 5th wheel? 8. Do you plan to add any tool/storage boxes behind the cab? 9. Did you ever consider get a Hylion diesel Hybrid setup? still could.
We like the Freightliner cause we’re just used to it, it’s the most driver friendly interior features, and they have the most shops & parts available everywhere. We both drove volvos for a few years, old & the newest one, there’s several things I just didn’t like. Ken worth would’ve been our 2nd option but yeh
The diesel APUs are know for lots of breakdowns theyve always been quite unreliable. It’s also very loud. The new electric is almost silent and works very well
Many previous Freightliners owners traded their Freightliners in and go to the new Peterbilt 579 Ultraloft which drives a lot smoother and has a longer wheelbase which allows a full catwalk. Freightliners are shorter in wheelbase which makes the ride pretty jumpy and rough.
All these millennials thinking truck buying is where it’s at.... buying a truck is the easy part, making a good living while owning a truck is the tricky part. Owning 3,4,5,6 trucks and being broke is starting to be the new norm seems like. Keep buying those new trucks kiddos, someone has to do it.....
I hate the 2021 doesn't have a net for the over bunk storage. Since there were no bunk, i would have loved the option to have cabinet up there. However if you are handy you can install a net yourself. For mine, i plan on putting in a large frig; so the microwave cadin is going out. I plan to put the microwave above the bunk using a retention belt to fasten it down.
CONGRATULATIONS on the beautiful truck.My nitpicks Are you should have fuel openings on both sides fairings like you have with the def. Also get a step box it will allow for more storage for mechanical/truck equipment. Peace and prosperity and light !!!!!

I have been driving since I retired from the Navy in 2009, I've been debating about making the jump to my own truck. After seeing this video I'm really leaning toward this new Freightliner. It's a sharp truck. Is between the new Freightliner or the new Kenworth T680. Y'all be safe on the road this winter, who knows maybe we'll come across each other out there. y'all be safe. Hey guys! Great truck! I ordered mine too, and it’s coming in January. I wanted the park smart apu but their having problems with the supplier. So I can’t have that. I had it on my last Cascadia and loved it. I got the next best thing...optimized idle. I ordered the same color interior as you guys and I think it’s the best looking

Nice truck how are the seats because I heard that they are very uncomfortable because I have a problem with my back so I am going to get the next Generation Kenworth T680 chest because I know it will be better for my back the the Cascadia
