Didn’t use any and I’ve not noticed any bleeding through 👍🏽

I used some 90 degree brackets to fix them to the outer walls, one half had a round hole that I screwed to the stud and the other half of the bracket had slot that I attached to the outer wall, the screw was center of the slot to allow movement either way, I screwed the stud to the floor without any brackets and didn’t attach the walls at all to the ceiling, it worked really well over the winter. The ceiling rose about 20mm and now the summer is back it’s gone back down to the position when installed, I haven’t had any cracking in the plaster at all. Thanks

@@Thetomrichardson how’s does affect the winter months? Even with the insulation, is the room still comfortable to use ?

It seems to be holding up in the winter so far, had some really bad winds so sticking down with the felt adhesive has helped, it’s not the thickest felt so I’ll keep an eye on it. Thanks

I foam filled the gaps and the sealed with silicone to make it weather tight, so at the minute it seems to be doing its job but time will tell

@@Thetomrichardson thank you for replying, ours is on a concrete slab and had nothing but problems with it and driving rain underneath which will start rotting the bearers, i spent 100 quid on some siga house wrap and then a roll of edpm adhesive wrap membrane and it's stopped it getting in but... Everything i read has made me worried because you have to let it breath apparently, and i am yet to insulate between the bearers, ive noticed even with dpm down there's moisture on the floor, i think its probably the air condensing on the dpm because the concrete is warmer than the timber and hopefully it will go when I insulate it? I just worry about having moisture trapped underneath rotting the bearers because it will be sealed. I have no idea why they tell you to do it like that because its not the best

Everything I've read points to having as much air flow undeneath as possible without going over 2.5m and to consider composite/plastic bearers instead of treated wood
