Nugget, our pet Emu, did not like the larger swimming pool we recently got him, so we found our Emu a smaller kiddie Pool and this is what happened.

Lol I know right? I was thinking to myself, "What a spoiled bird!". But then I remembered all of the outrageous things I've done for my cats. I even got down on my hands and knees once and drank out of a pet drinking fountain to show one of my cats it was safe to drink from (it was brand new, though, no dirt or germs on it yet). It worked, though! She went ahead and drank from it after I showed her. The things we do to make our pets happy lol.

I just want to say a BIG THANK YOU. I made boiled eggs in my insta pot. I will never make boiled eggs any other way. They were cooked perfect and they peeled so easy I couldn't believe it. I wanted to make deviled eggs instead of egg salad, because the eggs were perfect. No cracks, no chunks missing. One more time THANK YOU.

Hi there, I live in McMahons Creek Victoria Australia in the alpine national park rainforest and I really love watching your beautiful life there. We have wild Emu here but we also have king parrots which have no fear of humans and are incredibly beautiful 😻 thanks for the wonderful episodes!

I found out that I’m allowed to have 4 hens (no roosters) and of course, I jumped on that opportunity!!! I have 4 hens - Nelly, Cali, Parker and Piper!!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY LITTLE BACKYARD FLOCK!!! I really don’t know how I survived without my GIRLS!!! All the Grandkids love them and help collect eggs. Too much fun and so sweet for all of us!!!!

Nugget really is Jurassic. I didn't realize how big his feet were until he got in his pool. His Predatorial skills are amazing. Every time you open his gate, he starts running like a roadrunner and I can only imagine him saying, "why can't I be left out at night, I need to protect the farm when the sun goes down,"! He was thanking you for getting him the purple pool by splashing water on you. Now I see why he's the Sheriff!

Yeah, emus are dead set lunatics. My first encounter was being ambushed by one in a zoo car park (Dubbo) and having my packet of chips stolen. Just about every zoo or animal park I’ve been to have had emus with attitude. 😂 They are definitely characters.

Hey all, I am from the land of the Emu, Australia, although I have only really encountered them twice. I remember my first meeting was a nightmare, I was a small boy and my dad told me to feed an emu at a reserve we were visiting, I think I must have had my haircut a way it didn't like because it was more interested in attacking my head than eating out of my hand. That Emu chased me around the pen pecking at me like I was a piñata ha ha. It felt like the running of the bulls to me when he scattered the females and they ran along side me ha ha. After escaping I was made to go back about 20 minutes later, I held my hand out from afar and approached calmly, he too calmed down, and it was amazing, he sat down as we sprayed some mist water on him and all was good. They truly are remarkable, and intriguing beings, a glimpse of the past, and a reminder of the beauty and wonder of nature and animals. I still remember how much joy and laughter dad got from me running away screaming ha aha, I got him back though, the next day a frilled neck lizard chased him away from the bench when we were eating lunch ha ha. I miss dad, thanks for bringing back such a fun memory for me. Nugget is pure gold.

Hi guys I'm Kazz, from Australia. Love Nugget. We had rehabilitated and raised Emus for years, funny tykes. Anyway, when we were only at it for a few years, we tried an incubator for our ducklings....first go, 73 healthy ducklings. Kept them in a warm hut until they were fully feathered. Well, we didn't know about the "No intruders in my territory" trait of the emus. Let's just say, upon release of 63 ducklings to the wider zoo, I was severely traumatised, as the emus trampled a lot of the ducklings while we desperately tried to recatch the ducklings. It was a slaughter. I actually dissociated apparently. Hard lesson learned. Carnage and trauma. Then, when the emus were released, Imagine my surprise, when they brought the other wild emus back to ours to eat and drink!

Empty the big pool you bought, put Nugget's new purple pool inside the empty big pool, put water in only the purple pool. If Nugget accepts the purple pool inside the big pool, then gradually add more water in the big pool and see if it is still ok with Nugget. Gradually move purple pool to one side if he is ok with the combo pool setup.

Brings back memories of my Grandparents Farm that was 1/4 mile from our home. Gpa was a Bee keeper and sold honey and the Grandkids would pick and sell Cherries. Gpa was also water master and after irrigation the fun began! We would all get a flashlight and hunt for nightcrawlers (worms) that we would sell too. I really miss it. ♥♥♥♥♥ Also, I had to laugh with your FFF because we have used that as well, but it stands for Forced Family Fun, lol!🤭🤣😂

You need to build him a cement pond a little larger then the pool and paint it purple. that way Nugget could lay ir's whole body in it.

I can’t imagine walking through my yard with a bunch of grapes like that! I would be so attacked!! I’ve noticed that my birds don’t like the green grapes as well. They must be purple. I think you better go buy all the purple pools you can find and have a stock pile of them!

Love Nugget! 1 Our Dogs loves her pool. Side note my husband said I'm a a nut case when I said something about using a tarp where he put peagraval for a walk way. My step dad used to own a lawn scape buisness and if I wasn't at school or work I'd tag along with him and his partner a work for them so I learned a few tricks and tips. I love the trees more then the flower & inside we have 6 tree's. Lol Young kid is allergic to flower and some tree's so it's been hard to find things she can be around. Love ya guys
