Alpine has arguably one of the best potential color palettes to work with and absolutely binned it.

Ferrari and Merc has the best liveries of the lot. The lines on the ferrari gives it a very retro look to the car and Merces Silver fade into black is just too slick.

I still think there should be an updated ranking after a few races under the lights and during a few face races so you can get a fully understanding of them.

One advantage of the Ferrari adding more yellow and white: it will look great fitted with any of the dry compound tires. Ferrari and Red Bull have liveries that compliment all three

What I love about the McLaren livery is it feels like an homage to the Marlboro McLaren cars, but black and orange instead of white and red the lines and basic patterns are very similar

I'm pretty certain that the blue and pink versions of the Alpine livery are getting mixed up. In both sections there are instances where one pic has pink on the nose cone (eg. 7:05), the next one has blue (eg. 7:12) -- the stripes at the back also not matching up. The pics are definitely mixed up but from what is said at least Matt also got confused by the two.

I said it after the Fezza launch... Tommy needs an eye doctor. I mean Matt has a LOT of sand in his eyes,but Tommy must have a severe case of terminal cataract 😂😂

I'm happy you have so many different views and also that your opinions have evolved from first reactions. Liveries are subjective and emotional - great to have that reflected in the scores

I actually like the straight squarish look of the lines on the RB cash app car cause I think it resembles a red bull can quite nicely

Love the VCARB livery but hate that they use both a light silver and a (slightly off) white. Those teo are too close. They should have just made the white parts silver instead.

The gridrival ad actually worked on me. I havent dowloaded anything from an ad for a long time. But this time it was too charming.

The VCARB design would have looked better if they'd used some curves to have the white panels sweep more with the lines of the car. Maybe having them as a metallic light grey instead of white also.

I liked how tommy described the haas car while wearing a shirt with that exact colour pallet :)

Was kinda confusing when you were rating the Alpine liveries and showed the wrong images of the pink car when talking about the blue and vice versa... Unless it's intentional with how boring and similar Alpine's liveries are.

You can do so much more cosmetically with Carbon that I wished they would do with the liveries. Like colored fabric in the weave or dies in the resin epoxy.

I'm going to rate liveries once I see them on track, both at night and on daylight.

I think if Sauber had to go with this weird mix of black and green, they should have gone full matrix and added even more thinner stripes everywhere. Or even done it like a tiger pattern or something.

They are linking the F1 car to the WEC car with those lines. We like them.

@Tommy- For vcarb white line with red line is issue... Have you ever seen Hugo and Honda logo...? It is the name of company in red on white background... I don't see any other way...

I seriously dont understand why all the Brits love the Merc so much... it looks like their 2020 car rear-ended the 2022 car, and managed to stop 60% of the way through. From the front its quite sharp (as was the silver W-13), but from the side its like they bought a quart of paint to do a job that required a gallon and just said "good enough" after the nose. The only one worse is the "blue" Alpine.

I think in isolation the McLaren and pink Alpine are absolute amazing looks along with the Mercedes. But because so many cars went with such carbon heavy liveries and it's a bit of a cheap trick it loses the appeal. Context really does make a world of difference.

Stake F1 missed not doing a modern take of the old 7-Up car from many years ago.

I wish the Ferrari still had the yellow letters instead of white on the rear wing. That was superb for me, though I'm not Ferrari fan.

I think the Mercedes and Aston look great in isolation, but as a livery I just find them dull and boring. The Stake car on its own isn't very nice to look at but it's definitely instantly recognisable. Ferrari and McLaren have their bright colours, Redbull have their iconic yellow nose and airbox. Of course Aston has to use their green, but with all that carbon it's just dull AF. Merc is ok, but I would have liked some more silver or teal on the sides.

I agree on the blue making the McLaren tacky last year. Great change

Look. I really like the carbon look. I think the alpine looks fantastic (far from the best, IMO that's the Williams or the ferrari), and I think the color pops more against the black, making it seem more important.

Probably no one cars about my opinion, but I gonna say it anyway Hass 9/10 I love it I don't really care how cars will look from front I care about all sides and I dont care about colors as far as they can make it work, for that reason I love Hass livery. Williams 7/10 I liked it much more initially, but it kind looked more avarage after little bit. Stake 6/10 I never liked it from the start, they had such a cool color to work with and in my opinion they just flopped it the only reason I give it a 6 cuz green is still cool color. Alpine Both 2/10 There is just nothing to say about it, both look bad and both are the same. RB 10/10 Just amazing, I personally love that red and white, makes it pop out a lot and I really liked that redish orange last year for the same reason. Aston Martin 9/10 Almost amazing, I never been a fan of that green color, but apart from that its perfect and for some reason I love that carbon on sidepods, looks futuristic for some reason. Ferrari 9/10 Would be 10 cuz I love everything apart that carbon on pods, its like on Aston martin but on ferrari it feels placed very awkward while on Aston its on point. Mercedes 7/10 its very suttle and I love it, but then there is that bright red that hurts my eyes. McLaren 8/10 Exactly same reason as Matt. Red Bull 7/10 I really like Red Bull livery all the time, but it feels like that bull at the top just keeps getting smaller and I hate that, cuz it feels like its the most important thing in that livery.

If you take the top view of the alpine, and make a cut out from the W to the front nose, just a bit smaller than the monocoque. It looks AMAZING. To bad the other 2/3rd of the car is just plain black... 7:20
