@LCon30 Yes, as Christians we’re all called to read and meditate on The Bible, some priests just seem to have their homily based on something exactly prevalent to you & your current issues. Listening to a theologian scholar gives you a different point of view that you may not have gleaned from it.

I am devoted to Our Lady of Sorrows, and have learned recently that she is my family's patroness! She has helped me so much with my character defects and realizing just how much humbling and correction I need, it's much more than I ever imagined! Praying her 7 sorrows chaplet and meditating on her sufferings has brought a lot of healing and protection into my life, I will invoke her under this title for the rest of my life.

As Catholics, this is what we do, we pray to the Blessed Mother to ask her Son, Jesus, on our behalf. We do not worship her but we honor her. Jesus gave her to us at the Cross to be our Mother too. Why do catholics have shrines and altars for Mary? Why sing hymns and kiss and bow to her image? Why ask her for protection and blessings? Why is there a crowning day for her? Do all catholics consencrate themselves to her? Is it taught in all catholic churches that she went to heaven after 3 days? It's believed she never sinned and was a perpetual virgin, contrary to the bible. She's now reigning as the Queen of heaven, Mother of Jesus, therefore equal to God the Father?

It was brought about from her apparition to a sister on March 8, 1930 in Brazil and approved by the Catholic Church. The Chaplet is very similar to the Chaplet of Our Lady of Sorrows, and was created to give honor to Our Lady of Sorrows.

I believe in this devotion because in the gospel of Luke 2:35, it is written, "so that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed. And a sword will pierce your own soul too." I didn't know about this devotion till I was older, as I had a great devotion to pray the rosary when I was a teenager, and through her intercession, God protected my family from black magic and witchcraft.😊

I have started my devotion prayer for the sorrowful mother and I have never ever felt so love and at peace in my life as I have struggle to a lot of things and thank God I found Fr. Ripperger and said about these prayer it is a life changing and I will continue to pray for her until the last day of my life.

Our Lady of Sorrows and my Guardian Angel revealed the most unexpected and humiliating thing to me about my spiritual life, and since accepting it some equally unexpected miracles have been happening. I still have a lot to work on, but a huge blockage was lifted like a tonne of bricks and all of a sudden things are moving in the right direction, for me and my son.

I guess it’s b/c my mom always talked to me about her and told me beautiful stories since I was very young. Today I prayed the 7 Sorrowful mysteries with 2 others in the Adoration chapel in front of Jesus in the Eucharistic host in the monstrance. She also promises peace in our families. I have peace in my family. How blest we are, we also prayed the Holy face devotion given especially for our times in reparation for the sins that offend God the most, Blasphemy against his Holy name, reparation for the profanation of Sundays and Holy days of obligation, to combat Communism and Atheism and for the triumph of Jesus Holy Church. We also prayed the 5 Sorrowful mysteries for Religous Clergy throughout the Universal church and for Jesus Holy Vicar on earth and that the Wolves be driven out of Jesus Holy Church, crushed bound and thrust to the foot of the Cross in Jesus Holy name.❤❤❤

Every knowledgeable Catholic affirms that only Jesus saves, and that he is the way, the truth and the life. That Jesus in union with the Father and Holy Spirit are the source of life. Can you quote to me the exact words in this video where the words, "Mary saves" is used? Catholics also acknowledge the Biblically recorded truth that God also works through creatures as his agents (John 20:23) in addition to direct intervention (Acts 9:1-9). In the example below, Jesus is explicitly telling creatures (his human being disciples) that they have the power to forgive sins. Do Catholics think the disciples themselves are forgiving sins? OF COURSE NOT, all of us Christians understand that God is the ultimate source of Salvation and in this case, the forgiveness of sins THROUGH his agents. So why would you falsely accuse us of thinking Mary is somehow equal to God? John 20:23 If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.”
I just wished our Protestant brothers and sister got to know our mother to being them even closer to Christ. Former Protestant here reverted back to the catholic faith. Our mother has brought me so much closer to our lord and I was never stop asking her to pray for us and protect us

The early church fathers all believe Mary to be mother of God. It was so only until 1800s by the Protestant church. Martin Luther, Calvin etc all believed the doctrine of our Blessed Mother. There are also called private/ personal revelations. Check out our lady appearing in Lourdes and Fatima. We venerate the saints not worship them. Also check revelation when the woman gave birth to the Lord. Who else gave birth to our Lord? Mary being interceded at the wedding in Cana. Jesus declaring Mary our mother when He was on the cross.

These so-called church fathers were not inspired by God and were not writing authoritative scripture, how about showing where the apostles claimed Mary was the mother of God, said we should bow down to her, that she is a mediatrix or, that we should devote and consecrate ourselves to her? You can't do it, so instead, you have to go outside of scripture to support your heretical practices.

JOHN 5:16 "The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working." Who is more righteous than those who are beholding God in heaven? They are perfect in heaven now so their prayers are perfect - and you and I who are imperfect pray for one another, and try to lead one another /others to Christ Jesus - so why would we stop praying for our brothers and sisters in Christ when we get to Heaven? You think heaven is a bunch of white clouds with people lazing about? Never doing anything - just being? Not even the Angels are in heaven like that - the bible says they pray and they watch over us.
