Wow, hard to believe it's over and a whole year has gone by. Congrats on the journey and I'm looking forward to whatever you get up to next. Especially the baby!
I can't believe it's the end, huge congrats to the both of you for doing such a wonderful job on this journey and letting us come along for the ride. Was great to see the continent through your eyes and I couldn't think of 2 better people to do it! Welcome home!
I cannot believe it's been a full year since you left for your epic trip, it's gone so fast! It feels like yesterday that I was watching you guys convert the Prius into a camper at your parents' house, and now you're already back! Thanks so much for sharing your journey, I have absolutely loved following it from start to finish. It became a little ritual for me to start every Sunday morning (I'm in Australia) with watching your new video whilst having breakfast, so comforting. I cannot wait to see what next adventure you will embark on, both baby wise and travel wise. Sending you lots of love from Sydney, Australia! ❤ P.S. I knew you two would make it and do the full year, was very happy when you could finally say "suck it, haters!" to the non-believers hehe 😉
Well thank you so much for this message! We;re so lucky to be able to do something like this and it's so special to be able to share it too! So thank YOU for being here and continuing to follow along. 🥰🥰🥰
I think the condensation was from the cooler/fridge. It probably evaporates the moister produced from cooling. Does it have a drain pan like most fridges? Or you can also check your AC hose in the car isn't leaking. Thanks for sharing your adventures with all of us! And have a great time back home.
Also, I was thinking even though I know you haven’t been sleeping in the Prius a lot over the last few weeks, human occupancy causes interior humidity, which will condense on cold surfaces. And a car body is not insulated to prevent that. Just my “man-splaining”. Congrats on getting home safe, loved your travels, and look forward to future adventures.
@@LeahandLevi Though regarding the car, check the filter for the battery unit... at the rear passenger door, on the left should be a vent and behind that is where the filter is located.
Bro I can't believe I got as emotional as I did watching this end. Also, like where has the last year of my life gone?? ... Give me a moment while I have an existential break... I've watched every single Saturday (even tho not always commenting) it was engaging, beautiful, inspiring. Thanks for sharing with us. NGL if i said I didn't feel the overwhelming desire to change my life right now as well.
Congratulations on completing your “navigating North America” adventure!! I’ve watched you for years, but the anticipation of every Saturday morning episode throughout this time, has been crazy! Couldn’t wait to watch what you’d been up to! I thought I’d be sad it’s “over” but I’m so excited to see you move back home, the baby, etc!! I was so bummed there was no “next time” trailer😂. You should both be so proud of yourselves!! And thanks again for sharing!❤
Congratulations you two. What an achievement. I loved following your adventures. Say hi to your folks for me and don’t worry about the small amount of water build up. That’s likely just condensation due to the cooler weather and high humidity combined with you being in the car so much. Enjoy being home!
As the owner of a Prius, you two proved it can be done. I won't be doing this in my car (claustrophobia!), but it can be done and enjoyed for an epic adventure. Congrats to you!
A revisit of that earlier video where you listed off the things you wish you did different in the prius and see if you agree or what changed throughout the year would be fun, glad to see you back home in BC! #westcoastbestcoast
I’m going to miss your road trip extraordinaire! You feel like people who’d be fun, even if you were grumpy! That’s a lucky baby to have your family ready and waiting to heap love onto. Be safe and well. My Prius life starts this month - much love. ♥️
Wooww you guys!!!! Unreal!!! Hole circle!! Isn’t it beautiful when cycles end? Meaning a purpose, work, objective, and outcome unfold all in the way it for you. I am so proud and happy for you guys!!! And of course, big thank you! For sharing all this adventure so gracefully with all of us!!! We love it!! We love you guys!! What’s next?? Meaning will we still have videos coming ?? Neither less to say we hope so!!! Thanks again for such an amazing trip, all of it, the documentation, everything so amazing. I have little memories of each of your videos!! But like Leah said, not the end but the beginning of a new era/cycle. And we’ll be right here following along!! Salute!! And look at that Prius!! What a rager!!! 🤪🫶✌️✌️
Our first trailer was a fiberglass trailer called a Trillium it was made in Canada around 1978 and it's still in great shape. Highly recommend for a small family and they are so lightweight!
I remember when you posted the first video announcing the trip and converting the car and WOW can’t believe it’s been a year already! I THOROUGHLY enjoyed every video. Thank you for documenting
Wow, watching the build take down really feels final! Congratulations on having circumnavigated North America and taking us along for the ride!! Best wishes for settling back in and enjoying all the creature comforts of indoor life!
Hey regarding the condensation, cars over time will slowly have their rubber seals, on the frame screw, degrade. Causing rain and water that runs under your car as you drive, to slowly get into your car from underneath. Nothing to worry about! Just wipe it up every now and then.
Mo!! 🥰 So adorable! Reminds me of that little cleaning robot on Wall-E hehe! Excited to hear about baby names! Guess you're full on voyagers!! What a feat!
Well that's the end of an era. What a year it's been, hey? I've thoroughly enjoyed living vicariously through your exploits and I wish you all the very best for the next chapter. Love and blessings to you both, and your families, gorgeous people. ♥
Congrats! It's been great to follow your journey (as well as the Future Proof channel blowing up) over the past few months so thank you for bringing us along. 💙
So, that’s a wrap? Thank you for a full year of entertainment and curiosity. I enjoyed every shared moment of your journey. The journey ends but a big new adventure awaits. What perfect timing with the pregnancy. Baby left Canada with dad and came home with mum. Congratulations. We all are hoping to follow along with you for your transformation from free spirit couple to parents. Thanks for sharing your odyssey. (So glad you and the amazing Prius arrived home safely).
I can’t believe it’s already been a year! Congratulations on an exciting journey, safe travel, and the little one ❤ Can’t wait to see what y’all do next!
Can't wait to see the wrap-up video! I believe the reason you had all the water/ condensation is likely because you started to sleep in the car before deciding to drive through the night. You had very humid and moist conditions and were breathing in the enclosed space, followed by the drive which can cause the battery to get quite warm or even hot. Wondering if originally there was some carpeting with absorbent underlayer on the floor? That scamp is fairly light and could be towed by a car like the Kia Sorento it was with ( I have a 2012 Sorento -- it's rated for 3500 lbs. but you wouldn't want to tow that much despite having the power to do so). I've been studying roof-tents and they seem to be less than ideal in many cases. That said, putting an expandable hard shell tent (iKamper Skycamp or 23Zero Armadillo) on a small utility trailer would be really easy to tow and still offer a lot of versatility. Don't much care for towing myself, but if you don't mind it that would be easy and more affordable than most other ideas. Cheers!...from North Vancouver
You had a remarkable trip. Very well done! Review your time at the Grand Canyon. Perhaps make a list of the top 3 (or 10) experiences for each of you. What have you learned? Am sure you've got the makings of a book!
From a fellow Victoria dweller, 🎉Welcome home!!🎉😊! It’s been very inspiring, watching you, because I have always wanted to circumnavigate North America! I’m on the other side of parenting (all my kids are 18+, my partner and I mystified about where time goes, ha ha) and we are two again, or with our baby adults, who have inherited our love of travel. I’m excited for your upcoming adventures. And I think your child is very fortunate in their parents!
Hi from Sweden! Can't believe its already been a year. That car/caravan combo is very common here in northern Sweden. But with more swedish brands of caravans. When I drive to work now in the summertime, I'm seeing at least 5 of them daily. It looked like you drove through parts of Sweden, it's interesting how similar it is.
I really loved watching your adventures, but you both are such a cute couple I can't wait to see you as a family! I could be your mom!! What a journey to show you little one once he/she has grown a bit. Love you guys!!! You did something I could never do and survived your marriage too!!!! ❤❤
I adored coming along for this year of your adventures! I teared up throughout this video. You guys are so freaking great and did such an amazing thing! ❤
Wow! What an adventure the two of you have been on. It's been great following you for the past few months of your journey. I look forward to the future!
I was half expecting this video to end when you attempted to close the Prius and your audience (aka camera) fell over 🤣 🤣 🤣. comedy ending with an iris out exit. super enjoyed your travels guys 🥰👍👍. looking forward to the next chapters of L&L adventure let's go!! 🤩 👏
Congratulations on your successful year long journey! It sure doesn't seem like it has been 1 year but it has! Well done and it was all done safely. Amazing! I followed along and enjoyed your experiences. Thanks for sharing this unique adventure. 😃✨🎉
😎 U2 are a lovely couple, you both have such wonderful attitudes, beautiful smiles, and you obviously love each other very much, I have enjoyed watching U2 on this journey, I wish you all the best. I know the baby will be a challenge, but he or she will bring you much joy and happiness. Good luck you too.👋✌️
A pull behind has disadvantages as you can’t utilize it while on the road. Not being able to utilize it is a big deal. Something you can drive and live in at the same time with some bikes for easy getting to and from.
What a trip! I was wondering if you are planning on staying somewhere else if you still have tenants in your home on the island? Was wondering what the situation was with that since y'all ended the trip earlier than anticipated originally.
Wow, It's hard to believe it's been a whole year. Congrats to you both!! I look forward to seeing what you will be up to next. p.s. I am currently visiting Ontario. I saw a Cruise Canada RV at Killarney last week, and for a good couple of minutes, I was excitedly thinking that it might be you guys' but then I realized you must have left Ontario by that point xD
"...make a baby in here" reminds me of that old Concorde commercial. It still makes me laugh. (Okay, I also laughed when I heard about the Indian car commercial where the person tries to commit suicide by inhaling the "exhaust" from an electric vehicle. I am one sick puppy.) Good luck with your new Prius!
Time flies! Phase One: [Prius] is over but here’s to Phase Two: [Leah’s Nest]! All that fresh air must be incredible after dodging fires and poor air quality. Peace of mind for Leah & Mo too. Happy Pride month! Cheers from Ontario 👋🏻🇨🇦🫶🏻
Scamps are the best. In fact, right now I am a few miles down the road from where they are made. Sadly, there is a two year waitlist for the new ones and the used ones sell really fast in the market so finding one is difficult.
Just keep living in the Prius. I’m sure it’s fine. Condensation is from high humidity plus high low temp inside and out. The Prius has not been generally known for being a sealed space capsule.
You could probably pull a Scamp like that with a Tesla Model Y or Cybertruck. In any case congrats on a successful road trip! And best of luck on whatever is next!
Have you looked at any teardrop campers? You could pull it behind your off-road lifted Prius and explore the Canadian wilderness on some shorter trips.
I would love a Scamp! Perfect for one person! Just need to win the lottery first! 😂 I hope it’s not “over”. I hope your adventures continue with baby! Can’t wait! I hope next is a reveal video!! 😊 Sad the weekly Saturday video is over!😢 Now the backseat is ready for a carseat!
I can’t wait to hit the road. It’s just my dog and I. I have just moved to carnivore. That will reduce what I need, but how to wrangle beef, butter, bacon, butter, cheese and seafood what to pack cooked or uncooked. Please post your food accessories list again and what you would do differently. I am a big girl working a smaller girl at 64. Love your pregnant wrap up. God gives us kids so we can laugh our asses off. A recommended Road list of Canada and dog friendly places if you have ideas. Don’t take a lot of time. I am just needing to go.
The saddest part, was watching you take your backseat build out and putting the seats back in. That made the end all too real. 😢 It was just so perfectly done…
