Thanks for sharing. I really like these American utes and thinking of selling the 200 and moving to one. My biggest reservation is that besides towing, I also do a lot of tight racks to get to spots. mostly for fishing but also just exploring for fun, and I worry that these are just too wide.
No worries at all, we personally haven’t struggled with the width of it yet, I’m sure we will one day. It is no wider than the caravan. I don’t personally have it but bushwraps do protective film for the body.
@@TheHedgesAdventures Yeah I have been looking at PPF protection and its def an option. I'd rather something stronger like RhinoHides but they don't do anything for the American utes yet.
@@TheHedgesAdventuresgreat response, a lot of Toyota guys (I owned a 200 before) say to me that the American trucks are too wide, I ask them if they’re towing their van through these tracks and when they say yes, I point out that my Silverado isn’t as wide as my van.
@@TheHedgesAdventures same here and the Chevs are a bit longer than the Rams. We run ours on truck license and she who must be obeyed handles it all very well.
Impressive looking setup. I'm in the trucking game and when describing their performance we usually say it pulls like a schoolboy 😂 What sort of mileage are you getting loaded and unloaded?
