I had the greatest of curiosities for computer languages and how syntax worked or to synchronize human language with that of computers making them talk and do complex programming tasks until I got myself chasing after assignments quizzes and grades. I got great grades with no further yearning for knowledge. I love physics more now LMAO
Try reading books on topics that interest you. There are lots of online courses too. Time management will be a tough thing but having a little bit of what you really like/love is way better than not having any of it.
Roger Penrose was moved down a class in mathematics because he was slow at the way the school system taught mathematics and arithmetic. His maths teacher even thought he was stupid. Roger Penrose is currently one of the greatest mathematical physicists in general relativity, quantum gravity, conformal cyclic cosmology, and has been a lead pioneer in cosmology and theoretical physics. He won the 2020 Nobel Prize in Physics for proving (mathematically) that all black holes have gravitational singularities due to geodesic incompleteness (work he did with Hawking in the 1960s). Grades don't mean everything, and it's sad that we live in a society where many people think they do.

What is so called mainstream? it could be surelly and well paid mayority. And science can be also destroyed scientifically... As well as there is executive law and legislative law, there is difference between sciences, implementation and creation (even by constructivelly opposing majority)...
And you must listen them what they're saying going through all that idiot. It must mean they've not followed the system even they were in system. Einstein and Newton are the best example for that.
I am still in college and I know it's garbage, however I need the degree. When it comes to learning and curiosity I use youtube and textbooks to teach my self away from this garbage.
