£140k for a transporter! I think I need a sit down! Good show we thought, we went on Sunday, lots to see and wish Santa for, but what’s happening to the pricing! Camping is no longer a more affordable option, lovely kit and amazing ideas, but it’s cheaper to use an air b n b most of the time! That said out 1995 bongo is nearly back on the road 😊 at a considerably lower expense. Love the Chanel btw.

So lovely to meet you both on Saturday at the show! 😊 we definitely have matching taste as most of these vans were our favourites too! We also liked the 2 VW vans at Knights Customs Campers. It was their first year at the show but very nice vans on display! Top quality conversions. 👍

Great video Will and Sarah, We went Saturday and Sunday, and sadly missed you as we wandered around virtually the same set of vans. Some great concepts on show. Gutted you didn't cover the Dirty Weekender this time, as they had some great vans on show and the company who we are going with for our conversion later this year. Hopefully you will also get your new van soon.

Who needs flying cars when you have a fridge that can open both ways!? 😉 In US, these vans can easily hit $250,000. For $100,000 you'll be lucky to get an air mattress and a blanket from a dollar store with an empty van.😂😂

Great video. Some really superb vans and motorhomes for extremely high prices. Out of most people's budgets. Would be nice to see some of these vans taking a pet dog into consideration as well.

Why do motorhome reviewers spend so much time just opening and closing cupboards as if they are testing for a faulty catch .. ? Do we need to see what opening a microwave door looks like ? What most potential buyers are interested in is the real world practicalities of beds, seating, workspace area and washrooms. Yes storage is important but many reviewers obsessed with it skipping over what makes the vehicle unique from others.

Very True. Some very nice styling, but the impractical bits need calling out - like Microwaves at a dangerous height for removing hot soup. Also a 6.8m van where the daytime space is tiny because of the huge washroom - how long are they planning on spending in there?

Sat in my new CJL Adventure-2 watching the vid. The wheels are great and I highly recommend the tyres - no road noise and good wet grip. Their vans are as good to use as they look in the show. We're just waiting for those side steps to be ready to get them fitted on ours - they look like a bit if a game changer to me. Some other very nice vans there but it's always the CJL for us....obviously 😂 Hope yours comes soon and you get out and about ASAP

my concern with these all vehicles that have only electric hobs etc is by the time ordinary folk can afford them ( 5 years plus) the batteries and solar panels will be coming to the end of their efficient life and maybe due for replacement. (hopefully fully warranted reconditioned units will be available) otherwise the cost will deter a lot of people from investing in a newer vehicle. That aside another superb vid . until I win the lottery I will make have to do with my converted van

Still I guess expectation is that you plug in at a campsite most of the time. And use solar power otherwise. Battery repair should not be a problem. Like they repair battery on Prius for instance.

Thanks Will and Sarah another great video. We were there on Friday and bought a few accessories for our Sven which we collect in a few weeks time. Will, on your question about tyres we went for the Oz rally raid alloys and BFG trail terrain tyres. I do hope you collect your van soon. bill

Hi there we have a Sven on order can I ask what your thoughts are on those Oz wheels and tyres, are the wheels strong enough for the weight of the Sven as I can't find this information, they are a fab design and did you go for 17 inch wheels? Do you like the Sven :)

Yes they are the correct weight and load rating for the van. 17" wheels are a good size to go for as the MAN / Crafter vans have a factory standard 17" option, so when fitted with the correct size tyres won't knock out the speedo accuracy etc.

Hi both Thanks for featuring some vans that make the Sven almost reasonably priced.😅 Wouldn't you agree that the Sven is crying our for a sink cover doubling as a chopping board ideally routed to allow liquid drainage into the sink? Do you think Yes Campervan or others would make something at a reasonable price?

100% a sink cover would be great! Some Sven owners have made their own, and we also think Yes Campervan might be able to help out a bit on a few other things too... I'll be catching up with them!

Hi, the other Affinity on the 6.36 Ducato was actually good value at £86k considering it is fully equipped for the price (Lithium, auto gearbox and 180hp engine). Has your Sven Hedin been finally built?

Another belting video you always seem to look at the vans we're interested of changing our Cali for! Possibly copying your lead and get a Sven, but I picked up on you smirk at what is probably their wildly optimistic delivery times!!!!! If you were ordering from scratch today do you think you'd have still chosen the Sven?

Thanks! We talked about that when we're at the show and to be honest, we'd still order the Sven even now. Partly because of the (relative) value of it compared to other Crafter / MAN vans and we really do love the build quality and the heating system that's fitted. It's all starting to feel a bit more real now though, we've got a picture of it having arrived at Wandahome TODAY!

I went the last couple of years and was interested in RP 4x4 it was around 160j with all the bells and whistles last year that went upto 180 starting price and this year I see the same van is starting at 225k? WTF is going on?
