I’m on the Lancashire coast and I’ve had problems with the cover blowing off my mk3 TT roadster. So I sewed on extra straps but diagonal. Will redo and put the where yours are placed. BTW previously had an MX5 mk3 - the most fun I’ve had on 4 wheels. Yours looks like a mk4 RF. Liked and subscribed 😊
Well spotted, we do love our RF. Going around the wheels made all the difference for me. Cover has been excellent, 4th year in use coming up shortly. Thanks for subscribing, much appreciated 👍
It’s from Classic Additions. The Ultimate Outdoor Cover. Loads of applications/sizes on their site. Up early today as mines going back on for the winter after the car gets a good clean 👍
Hi, thanks for the video. Do you get any condensation, how often to you air the car. Have you noticed any rub/light scratches? I want to protect my car but also read covers can do more harm. Are these covers soft inside? thank you in advancefor taking the time to reply.
Hi Darren. No, no condensation with these covers and yes it's very soft on the underside. I always wash, dry and polish before fitting the cover so been ok with scratches/swirls. I'd say if you're not 100% certain the car is perfectly clean just don't fit the cover until it is. Will be using it again this year for sure.
@@midlifemotors5050 thank you for the reply. Is your cover the fully waterproof one or the lighter breathable one. I'm not going to park mine up for the entire winter but plan to open up on sunny weekends wash and putaway. Thanks again
Yeah, worked well tbh. Hoping for a dry weekend to get the cover on again for this winter. This will be the cover's 3rd winter so hopefully it'll still be ok 🤞
Is this sold in the states? I'm lookin for a really good cover for my C300 for rain.... thank you Update: I found the site immediately purchased based on your review and the customer service assisted and it will be shipped. I realized if i want quality its gonna cost. whats funny is i've been looking for a few days for a cover and saw your video and something just said this is it.... my issue is rain i want to protect cause i've noticed a few years where rain comes in the sunroof so i have to get the debris blown out and i dont drive the car often and we're starting to go into ran so its best to cover it per the dealership. So I'm trusting you... thank you....
Good stuff. Ours is still working well after 3+ years. You won’t get any leaks. Just try and make sure the car is clean before putting the cover on to prevent any scratches 👍
Sure, there have been a few more update videos since this one and all is well. No swirls, no condensation. Cover will be getting used again this year. That'll be winter number 3 with it
@@midlifemotors5050hi mate. Where did you get the cover from. My sierras on the drive this year, took it off the road end of October washed wax oiled the lot. Had a cover on it with cloth inside found it started to condensate. Took it off, but 30 yo seals aren’t quite doing the job so let’s a bit of damp inside it sadly.
My problem with car covers has been keeping the bast*rd animals off. Foxes in particular seem to love perching on it and digging at it. I want to get one of these better quality covers as mine has disintegrated but also don't want a fox tearing it to bits.
Fair point tbh. By the coast here it's the massive frikkin seagulls. We've had to replace the sunroof rubbers on the Polo because they just pick at it. Fortunately they seem to leave the cover alone. Phew!! The cover is excellent though and this is year number 3 for me, its definetly getting tested this winter. The weather has been awful!!
