After a "Swelly" ferry crossing 😆
It was time to pick up some supplies and head off to the campsite. We tend to book one for the first night of a trip. just till we get the lie of the land.
However, we hadn't expected our first night to turn out like this one!

I would advise people not to make the same mistake i did when doing this journey! Having time to spare beforehand I decided to treat myself to a full breakfast in one of the local cafes before embarking. Oh my word!! I was pretty green by the time I arrived.

Thanks. Not at all pleasant. The walk in the fresh air was good as you say, but I was pretty knackered by the time we got back. It was short-lived, thankfully🙂🐕🚙

Lovely place when the sun shines. That looked a very nice ferry you crossed on, with a special dog lounge. Hope you've recovered from your first night and you haven't had a reoccurrence since.

Definitely. That ferry was a cut above all the ferries we've been on. There were several dog areas dotted around with the same seating as everywhere else. The return ferry later in the trip ...well...🙂🐕🚙

I'm picking up my berlingo micro camper on Wednesday 29th may it's a convertion by Air valley campers in Keighley. It has a pop top so I can stand up and get dressed and have a stretch lol. Thanks. 😆 Bernie has a large scar right across his forearm that happened when he fell on a saw at 3 years old. It's always been to ours and now the grandkids, where he fought off a crocodile in the Amazon lol. Honestly, it was a real eye opener being that ill. Thank the Lord we were on a site. 🙂🐕🚙
