We put James in the air and travelled further south down towards Leverburgh. We were looking for somewhere for a spot of lunch.
Loosing out on the first café, we found another. just how long is it since we ate out!
Is this the new normal?
Walking off the lunch we met up with friends for a walk to the historic, medieval church at Rodel, before driving the "Golden Road" and doing a much awaited bit of shopping.

Were the ladders still in place that you could climb up to the top of the Church at Rodel? Great video,brought back lots of memories from my trip circa 4-5 yrs' ago. Thank You.

Afraid. We didn't see any ladders. The door to the tower was locked. That's a shame, that would have been an added bonus. Pleased you enjoyed it.🙂🐕🚙

Fabulous video it took me back to my visit to St Clements in 2001, a time before I was disabled. I am not a religious person but I definitely felt something spiritual in Harris / Lewis, Skye, Mull and Islay as though I belonged there or had been there before. Perhaps it's my gaelic ancestors that connect me, who knows? Another visit is long overdue. Can't wait for more of your videos. Many, many thanks.

We loved the church at Rodel but were a little underwhelmed with the Golden Road. Beautiful handbag & great video but no Blue 😔

The landscape is very different on the east side. More luna with all the bare Rick's, that's for sure. I'm scared to use my bag 😆 Don't worry, Blue's back next week. We both know he's the real star .. and so does he!! 🐕🙂🚙

We are finally starting the work on our campervan I do like the idea of the space for your feet for getting up in the morning but if so where can my little dog sleep where does your dog sleep my husband suggested building a bed on the Dashboard but I cannot see that working he is a Frenchie about the same size as your dog

HI Beverly. We wish you all the best for your upcoming build and all the future adventures it'll bring you. As for our Blue. The bed being as a double size at the top where our bodies are is also wide enough for us all to sleep. Blue sleeps between us. Yes, it's cosy but, handy when it's cold. We keep him warm and he returns the favour 😊🐕🚙
