Great video. I've had problems with aftermarket radiators on many different types of cars and trucks over the years. Sometimes they're fantastic and sometimes even though they look the same on the outside they just don't perform.

the Adrad radiators cost more for a reason. Been running one in my 80 now for a number of years and zero cooling issues. Be sure to use the toyota red coolant as well and you'll be good to go

Check the clutch fan. Might need repacking with genuine Toyota viscous fan fluid. Too many mechanics over look the clutch fan.

Often true, this video was not a how to video, more of a heads up regarding aftermarket parts that have been installed may actually be the problem.

Hi mate where should the temperature normally sit on the temperature gauge on the 80

The factory gauge is pretty vague. The gauge will sit around halfway but will barely move between around 80 and 110 degrees. Encourage and aftermarket gauge if you want to keep an eye on things.
