I've got a 01 20XRD that I paid 16k for. I fished out of a 20XD 5 years earlier and I knew that I had to get a Bullet! It had a 225 pro max and I've since repowered with 2020 250 ProXS. Performance and fish ability are #1 in this mans opinion. Lawrenceburg marine are the good Bullet people that have taken great care of my boating needs. I plan to fish out of this boat until I can't fish!

Going pick up a new 21xrs w/ 300R next weekend. I was originally looking at a blazer 625 but couldn’t get any one on the phone after multiple attempts. Called bullet and spoke with Tom as well and had the same experience you did. Great guy and knows those boats in and out and knew where every single boat was at different dealers. Can’t wait to be part of the bullet family.

I have a 2017 BassCat Eyra ( 20"-2" ) with a Merc 250 pro xs 2 stroke...the boat will do 80+ with me & 1/2 tanks of fuel, fully loaded with 2 men/full livewells/4 batteries the boat will do upper 70's

Just bought a new 21 RDC Bullet. Can't not say enough Great things about Bullet. I worked 1st Hand with Tom on my Build. From wheels on my trailer to sea deck in the floor. Lights out !!!!! Full custom built by hand and the best customer service you will experience. Best Bass Boat on the water. #BULLETLIFE

I have a 2013 xdc w a 2023 300R. Ive had it since it was new and never had a single issue and not a singke stress crack fishing these big texas lakes. I have talked to Tom several times and he remembered my boat because it was a Wolfson boat. I love the boat! Its amazing and i cant see ever selling it.

Love your videos. I was a marine tech for 21 years in the USCG and for 3 yrs after I retired. I am an avid avid bass fisherman on the Potomac...and a huge zuke fan!! Keep them going!! You seem like maybe the most knowledgeable BassBoat mechanic/set up guy on the web!!

Pretty boats for sure. I think all Bullets come with gel coat stress cracks in the splash well as well after about 4 hrs.

I had an 86 or 87 Bullet 19 vee. Bullet helped me get hinges and a gas cap for the almost 30 year old boat. Super helpful and got me the parts fast. Awesome boat until I blew up the motor (make sure your temp gauge is hooked up). Wish I had it back.

Been eyeballing a KingFisher Warrior 1825 for a new boat, tipped with an Yamaha 150 inline 4. Just a tad more expensive than a LUND Impact 1875 with a Merc 150. But the quality on the KingFisher seems light years better than the LUND. Not as much glitter, but just "beeeeefy" build. Talking to multiple dealers and watching videos on RU-vid, this could be a real winner. Love to hear if other guys and gals have any experience. From what I read a lot of outfitters in Canada are dumping the "Alaskans" and going to KingFisher.

Customer service goes a LOOOONG way! that's exactly why White River Marine Group (Nitro, Triton, Tracker, Ranger) will never get another PENNY of my money. worst mistake i ever made in my life is buying a boat from those jack wagons

Still have that bullet being a lowe boat owner. Brian Latimer has a Full tin rig with a big 150 on the back and two power poles don't know how he did it but it's back there but I'm sure it's probably something built from Falcon boats. That Suzuki looks great in that 2 tone colod

Can you get one with a Suzuki on it? Love that engine behind you Andy! Completely agree with you on customer service. Sure one can buy a cheaper boat, but when you need parts or repairs that's when you really find out if it was under valued or not.

I figured 89 on the xd omg on the speed ive been jumping up and down when my boss co angler found a very clean 97 20xd for 16k. I wanted it for myself and it was sold 2 days ago.

I got a 2000 20xd with a rebuilt 250 pro xs and a sport master lower unit. Just broke 11 hours and turned it up to 5400 rpms with 2 people and full tank of gas and did 83 in a hurry

To think, I priced and had it bought and turned it down then,a new 05-20XD with a 300X with tandem trailer, BMT only for $45,000 otd! Wished I’d purchased that boat now, I won’t get the opportunity again. That boat did have the standard features, which was good with me.

Like the channel. I’ve got a question about a 2011 225 proxs with 280 hrs. Only ask on this video cause it’s the most recent. You guys seem to know your stuff. Been hearing/reading things about compressor issues with the proxs motors. From what I’ve read the compressor has been upgraded since my year and if/when it blows costs seem to go way up. Like all of us I’m not made of money but can afford to change out a working compressor for a possibly better one to save the headache down the road. Just looking for some input in thoughts of changing it out as preventive maintained. Worth it?

Compressor issues start to arise at the 800 hour mark. We wouldn't worry about it until you get close to that mark

You should really take your own advise! I called you multiple times trying to buy a new Suzuki. The young lady who answered the phone always said you were who I needed to speak with but you were busy! Always promised you would call me back, but never did. I guess things happen for a reason. I love my new Mercury from Duck River Marine in TN.

Understandable Shawn, we receive around 150+ phone calls a day and have only 1 secretary. Most Suzuki's are backordered 4 months, glad you are enjoying your new Merc!

@Team Marine Service I have a 2000 model 20xd with a '99 Mercury 280. It's Dry stacked with Boger 25" prop & Boysen drag reeds; 94+ gps; ran standing qtr in the 12s @ "Fire On The Water" in 2002 on Douglas Lake Tennessee with original owner who worked closely with Bullet on the build. I've been to Bullet and it's true that the people knew the boat and remembered everything about it. The Bullet people are the best 👍

Do you ever talk about resale value in these vids? I'm shopping the used boat market and the Rangers and Skeeter (mainly Rangers) are out of control. 8 or 9 yr old 20 ft Rangers are priced above $40k all over the place, and back then they probably cost $65k.

To keep the pricing as close as possible we've chosen to select everything with a 250 SHO unless Merc was the only option. If we were actually going to purchase it best believe it would have a 250 SS on the back!

thats hard to believe, for $20,000 dollars you can have all of that installed, it would cost you a whole lot more if you bought everything and put it on yourself, just the graphs and poles alone would be pushing $20k

Your last statement is 100% correct. In the world of boating Customer Service is such an important thing. Yes we like Bullets, Gamblers, Basscats, Phoenix, Ballistics, Blazers etc but aside from their great boats their customer service is great too. People are starting to wake up to it more and more. We started this series to not only bring the people the info that you all wanted but also to hold these boat companies feet to the fire....to force them to answer the questions that all of you have been asking for! At the end of the day everyone makes an overpriced boat, BUT people are still buying them. This series focuses on customer service as the #1 priority!

These boats could be awesome...but how can you give an under and talk about craftsmanship on a $70K boat that WILL crack in the transom area and splash well Bullet has knows it a problem for years. It could take 100 hours but I've seen it happen to 5 hour old boats and up.. This is an issue that everyone wants to hide and no one wants to talk about.
