South of Heaven, my favorite Slayer album... and So Far So Good is an underrated classic as well. Cool video brotha, we have similar tastes in metal I see LOL
Bro, we would have got along real well back when those days. So far so good so what, I completely agree with your take, sounds like it was prior to Peace Sells.
I’ve always had that opinion aswell about so far First introduction to Anthrax and first i bought with ’em was State of Hammered theatre ”Still life” out of Piece.. Cool picks man 👍🏻
It was actually recorded when they did SATD! If you can find a late 90’s/early 2000’s CD reissue of SATD, you will get the original version of that song as a bonus track.
Smokin’ in the boys room is a complete filler! Keep your eye on the money, fight for your rights, raise you hands to rock could have been actual good songs if they would have stayed clean long enough, but they didn’t & they are just fillers!
Suicidal Tendencies Join the Army is another one, fantastic album but its stuck in between the self titled and How Will I Laugh Tomorrow which are arguably their biggest albums
Piece Of Mind is far from overlooked! If you actually follow the metal community, many Ed Heads will tell you POM is their favorite! The Ultimate Sin is far from overlooked! It’s so overlooked that people have been screaming for a reissue! It’s a highly sought after album on vinyl! asylum is decent but NOT overlooked! The overlooked Kiss album is The Elder! It’s been bashed but is actually a good damn album! There is no overlooked Pantera 90’s album! Theatre Of Pain is where they began to go down hill! It has a couple good songs but that’s it! Smokin’ In The Boys Room is a lame cover after the great job they did on Helter Skelter! City Boy Blues, Louder Than Hell, (a rework of a SATD cutting room floor track) Home Sweet HomeSa e Our Souls & Tonight, We Need A Lover are the only good songs on there! It’s about their 4th or 5th best album! The Crue album that’s overlooked is the Self Titled album with John! That’s also their third best album!
Even though Jake is my favorite Ozzy guitarist, No Rest for the Wicked is my favorite Ozzy album... every song is great... no filler on that one. Blizzard has a couple of "filler" tracks, imo... Diary is a very close second to No Rest. And then the 2 Jake albums have some filler, imo, but I still love them too.
for kiss the best non makeup album is lick it up other than the song lick it up ( dont like that one ) asylum is a great album crazy nights is the worst album they ever made and revenge is overrated big time asylum is better 9 except the way they looked lol the best non makeup look was revenge era
That 84 to 87 kiss era stands out to me because when animal eyes came out in '84 I had just discovered MTV in the video for heavens on fire was on all the time and I was only 9 years old. So immediately the band grabbed my attention and I knew who they were but because they didn't have the makeup on I was shocked but I dug it at the same time. So that whole early to late '80s era was kind of what I grew up on when it comes to the band. I really like the lick it up album as well, but I didn't include it in the video because it was kind of before my time when I discovered the band
