Villain: “Hmph. While you were hitting me I was so bored I decided to tie your shoes. But as I was tying them I noticed they were a bit worn so I decided to head to footlocker and buy you some new ones instead.” Hero:“No...So you tellin me I’m not even a threat?” Villain: “Well it was a bit difficult...” Hero: “Yes! I, ...” Villain: “...Trying to figure out which shoes would look best on you inside your casket. That’s right. The hardest part about this battle was choosing the pair of shoes I would obliterate you in.”
“I was able to hold off my arch-nemesis to protect my friends!” “So you must be strong” “But it’s only for five seconds” “GET OOUUUUUTT! GET OOOUUUUT!”
i wanna believe that the antagonist aint even evil. he's just trying to live a normal life but because he's so overpowered, he cant help but cause mass destruction everywhere he goes. at first, he actually wanted the heroes t kill him but soon discovered that no one was strong enough to. this is like, the 50th person who has tried to stop him, and at this point he just plays along with them
"Welcome to the villains club, how op are ya?" "How op am I?!! I defeated the main protagonist" "So?" "When his main theme starts playing in the background" "Right this way sir"
Is there an anime were the power of flashbacks and friends fails and the hero dies and you follow the villain afterwards? Asking for a friend...and myself
Who else wants to see “Overpowered villain vs overpowered Protagonist” ? Edit: Dear god why did this thread turn into a war zone? Edit 2: It’s apparently about anime, well mostly about anime, I’m sorry to everyone that suffered from this thread
Jiren in your recommendations considering how he chose to run away, he is not the protagonist. Most likely after he dies, the main protagonist will be notified and use it as motivation for revenge. Which will become a flashback as he powers up after taking a beating from the villain.
And then the hero somehow manages to figure out his powers and from there on almost die before revealing they already defeated the villain right as they say "I'VE WON!"
Hero: *trains all his life masters all martial arts* Villain: *beats him with a single humiliating punch* Hero: *proceeds to hv motivational flashbacks of his father/sensei* *gives one dramatic drawn out punch* *villain gone*
Pfft u clearly didnt make it past the passive energy barrier that surrounds him due to the massive amount of *insert whatever mana this anime uses* he has
Yay! finally someone making a joke about how little time those people buy and how the people they save usually waste it looking back or just simply by not hurrying. I always think that when I see those scenes
Protagonist: uses all of his moves techniques and combos to defeat the villain and even learning new combos along the way: Villain: ‘Tis but a scratch.
Didn't even give him a chance to leave and train with a random person who he discovers is a legendary warrior and comes back to then finally make the overpowered villain snap his fingers. (thanks for the likes)
Overpowered villains when they are introduced: i am immune to all damage and i can kill you by blinking Overpowered villains later in the arc : get punched once and dies through the power of friendship
Anime Protagonist: *Has flash backs of earlier times throughout the anime, his childhood, theme starts playing, and plot armor and "Writer loves him" powers take full effect* Main Villain: *Still beats him* AP: HOW?! MV: Because I can. And that's how things like 'Boundless' and 'Beyond Fiction' characters were born
