@@dominickspina361 To feel better reduce negative thoughts with a simple practice. Your breathing is closely related to the brain [mind] and gives good relief from stress-anxiety. To relax sit on a chair or lie down, neck straight, eyes closed and observe the sensations of your incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for 5-10-15 minutes or more. Don’t fight your thoughts. With daily practice the mind will relax. No deep breathing needed. Do the practice without any expectations. When taking a walk, at office, in school, when reading, before sleep etc observe your breath sensations. Like me, make this a lifetime daily habit to have a good life. Reduce negative media and avoid constipation as it affects the mind instantly. Best wishes--Counsellor.

I have been there too, I accepted my weakness and prayed about it, I wrote down and signed that I will never ever overthink in the name of Jesus and I declared it, I am much better now and have the power to fight against it, this is very painful
Most misunderstandings in the world could be avoided if people would simply take the time to ask, "What else could this mean?.. I feel We are dying from overthinking. We are slowly killing ourselves by thinking about everything. Think. Think. Think. You can never trust the human mind anyway. It's a death trap.
I felt this big time, I struggle with that so much and it's worse when it all floods into your head at once and you tell your mind to SHUT UP and it won't... I felt this video so much that my body started feeling a bit of the on-edge feelings I get before anxiety takes over and makes me have a panic attack lol. Oh my God, that fidgeting part too, and the biting nails thing... I was only just recently able to stop biting at my nails 1-2 years ago, but once in a while I still can't help myself. My fidgeting has gotten worse since I came back to school after the pandemic. My mind is a MESS, thanks a lot overthinking 😃👌
This is way too relatable, I even have to think about the way I’m breathing and blinking sometimes. I want my mind to just shut up, but I keep overthinking everything and am always hyper-aware of people and my surroundings.
I started catching my thoughts and had to literally say out loud to stop, and I am much better. It's not gone, but I intercept now. I learned it from following a therapist on IG who's name I forgot, but she was British.
When many thoughts started to visit your mind at the same time as shown in the video, that's what made me like the video. So accurate. To anyone who suffers through this, you can help yourself. 1. Voice every thought. Thoughts always continue in your head, but if you say them out loud they stop. Eventually you'll control your thought flow, not the other way around. 2. Binaural beats (meditation music) It entertains our brain by producing different frequency, that our brain produces too. It helps engage our brain to listening, instead of non stop thinking.
I overthink about everything, from a bug to people, to eye contact, to people their posture, to people how they look at me, how they tell me things, in what kind of tone, if they are honest or not, how they’re feeling, talking to my thoughts and get in a discussion with my thoughts. and it makes me tired because it takes a lot of energy. I CANT get rid of it i just cant i dont know what to do. I have also HSP so that makes it also very difficult.
i also have this outside just the moment when i wake up i think already too much and everything pops up in my head. I forgot to mention I have HSP and ADD
Most of us (overthinkers) are brilliant that's a fact buh that comes at a price... You are always lost in thoughts and most of it isn't even worth thinking about.

this is real.....this is me when i was 15-25 years old......now things getting better when i get to understand that over thinking is making my life worse to worst, it is not helping it all, it is making me older than my real age...this is a pain
Thank for sending such a beautiful message to us, keep up the good work, overthinking really kills you from inside it's unbearable you just wish you could go somewhere for a trip or something and just divert your mind but it's so damn hard, the only cure to it is to stop thinking just go blank and restart, to any of you who overthink a lot just know that you have the power to refuse these temptations and be who you are.. take a little time of the internet or something it can be quite stressing at times, have faith in yourself cause the day you lose faith in yourself is the day your doomed, it'll get better...you do need a little rain to create a rainbow.
Our everyday struggle in one video 😔😔 overthinkers needs kindness , attention , understanding , high emotional intelligence , compassion, atlast someone who want to cure their trauma overthinking is not voluntary understand them be kind plss less selfish 🙌🙏💔

@@jonafiennes Since many years I have made it a habit to observe my breath sensations even during my normal activities and I am feeling relaxed and healthy. Anywhere-anytime it can be done. The best part is nobody comes to know that you are doing the breath observing practice as there is no deep breathing or sound. Normal life is not affected. Reduce watching negative social media and avoid constipation as it affects the mind. Read my msg and do the practice regularly. Best wishes. Senior counsellor.
this is literally the way I feel when I come too early e.g.to my piano class and my teacher isn't there yet. I start going through my phone looking for a change of the appointment and start overthinking
This is so true ....sadly I go through this everyday...almost everytime I dear losing something special to me.....this actually doesnt feel right 🥺🥺🥺it's so stressful
