I hate to admit it but I didn’t hate her. I expected to make fun of her the whole time but dammit I agreed with her and like her.

Imagine you would only be able to READ what the candidates say and you would have to go by that. The gender, the age, the looks, the clothes, the voices, the accents - all that would be eliminated and wouldn't be part of your decision process. Ask each of them the same questions on 40 to 50 topics, agree/not agree, and create a spreadsheet. Then let individual voters check the boxes and see who they actually agree most with. They may be surprised.

Marianne Williamson did not speak on the economic and world affair topics in the video. She couldn't talk about the possibility of a recession or about Putin. Her style comes across as passionate, but she can't really offer the specifics on what needs to be done.

She didn't know enough about economics and world affairs to offer an opinion when these topics came up. I saw a couple of other videos where reporters asked her questions about foreign affairs, and recent events and she didn't know enough to give an answer. It's relatively easy to make sense when discussing your own talking points, but she doesn't have the basic knowledge needed to be an effective President.

I know, and then people who put up the debates on youtube, CNN kept having them taken down. I had to work so I couldn't catch the debates on time and I had to wait several days to watch them.

I have never watched these debates. Bill was right when they should do away with the audiences. I am guessing that the candidates play to much to the crowd. I am guessing the moderators are pretty well known. There should be some other voices. I would like to see some people like economist Michael Hudson, David Cay Johnston, Chris Hedges, Matt Taibbi. I am sure there are others who might ask better questions. Josh Barro was right when he said there is not much that can be done when there are so many candidates. While I am not going to go through 2,000 comments, I think most of the people who like Williamson, like her because she is so different. She may say a lot of right things but she would be a terrible president. And Trump voters liked him because he was so different. Look where that got us.

Ever sense the league of women voters were dropped and this committee of the 2 major parties took over, the debates became nothing but a side show for gullible viewers. They keep any 3rd party candidates out and give the participants the questions ahead of time.

I agree and disagree. I'm a Canadian, and I watch American politics because it's very entertaining, because of this, I actually know what's happening in the American political world. I'd pay someone 500 bucks to sit through a boring ass debate in Canadian politics. Nobody is watching it, because people don't want to invest 1-2 hours learning about the candidates if theres no drama, it's the way people are sadly. Please consider throwing $1 to Andrew Yang's campaign as well (Link: www.yang2020.com/). He and Marianne are close and they align on many issues. Number of donors and polls are qualifiers for being in the debates this election. I respect both candidates and have donated to both. Yang supporters should also support Marianne and Marianne supporters should also support Yang. I like Bernie as well but some people *really* don't like him, He's a more polarizing figure.

Marianne is a refreshingly different variety of candidate. That said, it is my feeling the average American voter would have a very difficult time taking her seriously as a candidate, despite the fact that an incredibly incompetent and destructive moron is currently holding the office of President. As a woman, she would be held to a qualification standard which is a quantum level beyond that to which they hold male candidates.

Patty, I've followed Marianna W for 30 years... she is amazing. She would actually make profound changes to our world. She would eliminate GMO's and chemicals that poison our food system, she would make all education free and have teachers teach a real an enhanced information (Our schools dumb us down with false information), she would compensate African Americans from theft of wages, land and life... the gov actually owes blacks $59 trillion dollars. That's how much they have made from us and continue to make. Currently, our government makes Trillions of dollars from locking up millions of black men, boy, and women annually. Example. Cincinnati locks up 15,000 young black teenage boys annually at a cost of $225,000 each... that one state makes $300 million from locking up kids for nothing. Black people are nothing but a cop that makes money while in jail. This is happening nationwide to young black and brown boys, girls, and adults. People of color are still prisoners of war. I'm proud of her for offering reparations. I also think women should get reparations for theft of wages by the government. I think white women are treated horrible in America. Our gov doesn't care if we are raped, murdered by our husbands, if our kids are raped... doesn't care. There are 64,000 missing black women in America. There are more white women missing or murdered and no one cares. America has a civil rights issue with everyone, but, white men.

But I'm all in for Elizabeth Warren for President...hopefully she (Williamson) will be apart of Warren's administration. From everything you've said I'm more convinced Williamson would make a perfect Head of Health & Human Services. You know, every Democratic candidate right now has something special to contribute to this country. If they could all just combine forces, we'd have a powerful, unstoppable vision.
