I have a thinkpad with lightning bolt port. Can it display video output?

Where is the best L series? Or E series

unfortunately super low quality display. I dont know why nobody mentions this but do not expect even a mid-quality display ! It is one of the worst displays I have ever seen. Inconsistent colors, terrible black tone, etc. I believe Lenovo should reconsider the display quality!
