This video provides an overview of quantitative method and design. Steps of conducting quantitative research is also reviewed, including research questions, hypothesis, data collection, sampling, instrumentation and data analysis.
After watching this videos I've learned a lot about research and it's help me to guide on how to make a qualitative research using this kind of method.
Thank u sooooooo much...it's really help me a lot...u don't know how much I am confused ...but just see yr two videos qualitative and quantitative...concept... Now I have a clear picture....thanks....
Thank you for this "qualitative research methods at glance" kind of video; I expect to view successive videos on the philosophical aspects of the qualitative research (i.e positivist and postpositivist divide) strand for gaining a deeper understanding...thank you for your efforts.
Now i know the difference between this 2 first is Quantitive is very reliable and accurate due to its portion of mathematical analysis whereas Qualitative conduct research by interviewing or interacting with individual as many as they can do gather information, still can used both of techniques to form a conclusion or result.
This is amazing. After a long search of information I finally get it right here. A great overview of quantitative approach. Big up and be blessed immensely 🙏
After watching this video definitely makes clear my understanding about Research. Thereare 2 types of research which is Quantitative and Qualitative. Quantitative is like mathematical system which is not like Qualitative that you can interview and ask many people. But it is also important to analyze both of this because there is what you called "Mixed Method."
The video that I watched give me an idea about the diferrences between qualitative and quantitative research.Making research needs to gather information about the topics that you choose using survey questionnaires.
The video that I watched is overview of research approaches with the two majors of research is quantitative and qualitative the two research its important because more understanding and more learn about that.
How large is the sample size required for the specific kind of quantitative research? What are the different steps in conducting the specific kind of quantitative research?
Validity - Face - does it measure what it is supposed to measure? Content - incl both item and sampling validity - item (individual items deal with only the subject being addressed); sampling (range of items - appropriate for the subject being studied) - experts in the field to help Concurrent - does the new test correlate with the old test that tested the same thing? Predictive - does the test correlate with another related measure - for eg., gre test scores - good grade - probably do well in the school. Construct - does it measure the construct it is supposed to - difficult in cases of abstracts.
