For me personally, Owen is the best character in whole Torchwood series ever created... I love him he was aside from Jack the best character in all of spin-off series of Doctor Who universe

Ditto. On the surface Owen is a womaniser, an asshole, and a terrible person. Underneath... well, he's still all those things - but he has lost so much before Torchwood and you get the feeling that he's an asshole because he's sick of the world being the way it is... yet as a doctor he chose to save the people in it and with Torchwood he chose to save some little part of the world and make a difference. Owen is a complex character, and even if you never end up liking him, you can't help but respect a cynical man who still chooses to save people.

29:34 Seeing as everyone knows Jack's immortal, I'm sort of surprised he didn't just shoot first, ask questions later. 31:21 If only if he hadn't gotten trapped by the worst Nuclear security measures ever then Ianto may still be alive.

@@danielmacgillivray3118 this is completely from Season 3 hindsight but if Owen was still alive he could have gone with Jack to face the 456 and then when everything goes to shit then Jack would just die and come back to life and Owen wouldn't be effected. Also it would have been interesting to see how he would have been effected by Miracle Day.

@@Jedi_Spartan i dont think owen would have been affected by the events of miracle day. It turned all mortals immortal and all immortals mortal. Owen was neither of those things. He was just dead. No heartbeat, no breath, no nothing. Given that miracle day didnt ressurect the dead, I think he would have been unaffected. However, I would kill to have seen him in children of earth/miracle day.

They're doing an audio show with Owen. You're forgetting that this show is a spin off of Doctor Who. The show that pretty much made time travel an almost Sci-Fi standard. So, if they can bring the team back, they can. And besides, when we left them off, the guy from the CIA joined Torchwood because he became immortal like Jack. So they don't need the original characters to do the show. Other shows do similar things like Law and Order and NCIS.

Been watching Torchwood again after many years, last episode of Miracle Day to go. You can't beat the first 2 seasons though... Owen was cool.

Marther jones annoys me every time she says someone dead im shouting cheat compressions chest compressions!!! There was no pressure put on that wound at all. He was unlikely to survive but he had some chance if she did simple first aid
