Owl lino print- develop drawing for cutting 

This is part of a mini project introducing pupils to reduction lino printing. The image is an owl but it can be applied to other subject matter.
In this video I convert the pencil line drawing to a heavier block drawing with a chunky pen to develop the final design. Looking back at artist references to inspire my choices.
In the next video I cover techniques to transfer the design to lino.
