Good experience for all involved. Can't be a championship team without feeling the hurt of a close loss. Ireland are an excellent team, very well coached. Rugby was the winner. Hopefully Sasha uses this experience to move to next level.

They always say that the results tells the story but we came from behind and something we are so good at in closing out games....we just could not do it......two drop goal attemps were successful.....not sure if he knew it would be but this is one that got away from the Boks unfortunately

Ireland have now played SA 3 times and the bomb squad has been used in every game. But every time SA used the BS Ireland have scored more points, is the BS a gimmick in todays game. They are No 1 and world champs but only just . Great tests so entertaining well done both teams..

I don't think it's the bomb squad concept per se. In this game players went off earlier for injury or blood bin, bringing bench players on over time as opposed to all at once. That can happen and can't really be avoided. Although Ireland do better than most matching up physically, SA still dominated their scrum, that's the point of the bomb squad. Also the bomb squad label was put onto the team by the media, it's a 6/2 split just like Ireland do in a lot of games, not sure why Irish fans get so riled up about it as if it has to work or not. The bench players did better than the starting 15 in this game too, especially Grant Williams. I think SA will get better as the season progresses but I think they may drop a game against NZ who will also be up for it.

Sasha had 3 good counter attacks..baptism of fire but came out on. We need to move on from Willie fast.Rassie cant pick the same players for 10byears straight..the squad is lacking..tried and tested winners but in the verge of staleness. Also.we need Am. Jesse is playing the best rugby if his life but his ceiling is a step down from Am. That Marco van Staden knock on was unforgivable. Will drop him from the squad. This series was vital to Rassies legacy. We not nr 1. We need to be stone cold with the selection process.. I feel it's too buddy buddy amongst the players..again stemming from the same squad chosen for years. Faf another one..drop him and give William's an extended run .or Reinsch. Put Faf third on the depth chart.

We will move on from willie next year when he is a centurion ...the backline lacked cehmistry without willie but while saying that i know sacha definitely has individual brilliance but speaking poorly and wishing willie to retire when he brings something no one else can to the squad is diabolical

Ireland won't have their pride compromised thats clear. They're to be admired for their footballing craft and unrivalled competitiveness but not necessarily upholding the spirit of the game - spoiling the breakdown almost as a rule without breaking stipulation or offending the ref. They've become masters at the dark art of counter-rucking.

Just because someone shows on tv more than others doesnt mean there werent others who played well in their individual position. Kwagga did oraait even got a charge down, he's probably 2nd behind Ox on players performance that game. The fact he got very little turnovers shows how good Ireland was on the day, give them some credit they played really well.

Boks pretty comfortably the better team. Odd that Feinberg didn’t put his hand up for losing the Boks the game with the stupid attempt at a banana kick that went out on the full that gave them field position and then taking the ball into touch when it was already out.

The loose trio is unbalanced without Vermeulen. There are plenty of plyers that could play 6. Time for some honest truths. SA rugby needs to start picking players without sentiment.

He needs to take a step away for a while, he gets to emotional. Except reff calls and focus and what you can control, that first half for example was really bad from the boks.
