I've had the pleasure of seeing dozens of concerts throughout the years and without a doubt, Alanis is one of the most compelling and interesting performers I've seen. She never misses a note, always has lots of energy, is a lyrical genius, and has a powerhouse voice that has stood the test of time.
I just love all how these bombshell singers of today just fangirl over and now Alanis. I mean, she so deserves it!! She’s not really on the scene as much anymore but she is an absolute icon and everyone knows it. This was an excellent duet. Pink is awesome!!
P!nk entered the industry in 1998- she is a mom just like Alanis. They have been friends for years. SHE decided to step out and sing again, because it is the anniversary of her Album. She also has been friends with Kelly Clarkson since she was a contestant on idol. She appears on her show EVERY season and does a sing-along with Kelly. My point is this, there is no “fan girl”-ing there is just genuine human friendship, respect, and love for each other. That is why she does these things with them. It is time to realize that “fame” truly is not a thing. Yes you can be a performer, and make tons of money. When the day ends though, you still need REAL friends. I wouldn’t trust anyone who asked me to sing for them, or sign a shirt, or even take a picture. These are people not products.
OMG being there what an experience that must have been. And she can still hit those notes! + the song fits Pinks repertoire very well. The word is overused, but this really was ICONIC.
OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG I WOULD HAVE SH!T. Alanis was my icon during the early 90s and got me through some tough times in life and p!NK came after her. This is like 2 of the most amazing women in music !!!!!!!!?
That song will be a forever classic, especially for women who were dumped by their SO for another person. It expresses the anger of the situation so well. Even the music hit the right cord. Love it, even years after.
So true! It's a song that should be passed down from the women of one generation to the next in perpetuity. This is a favorite to belt out when I'm alone in my car and pissed off in general. So therapeutic!
I miss Alanis so so much I had tickets to see her twice but both were cancelled…. Thanks Covid. 😢 Please please Alanis come back we the 90’s kids miss you !!!!!
My girl and I will be seeing her in August and we were witnesses at this very show!! Pink Pat Benatar and Alanis OMG it was a remarkable performance! My girl is a total fan girl of Alanis and she freaking cried when she came out and I cried watching her cry!! Was a unforgettable moment ❤
Eu adorei tb porque essa é uma das músicas mais viscerais da Alanis, sobre sentimentos tão e exclusivamente femininos! Então, tudo a ver duas grandes mulheres cantando! Maravilha!
Pink was just starting out in ‘98 or ‘99…Sandstone Amphitheater…KC….only knew her from radio hit. She was amazing. Had no idea she’d be such a star though! Wow! I can only dream of seeing her again!
I saw Alanis alone in KC ‘98? (new to area) & the seats were boring so I walked past ticket checker & up to 3rd row. I swear I saw the ticket gal 😮in shock as I went by & then lost in the crowd. 😂
