Please - SUBSCRIBE Now !!! P006A error Jaguar XF - Intercooler problem Part for Air Hose is C2Z32115 This issue was a split Intercooler radiator which can be seen in the video as the engineer inspects the issue for me.
I hv same issue with restricted performance Probably the same it seems I hv changed air filters and Trying now on maf Will go thru to intercooler today Thanks u very much
@@joewoodford9428 Hello sir Mechanic says all good inside Askd me to meet electrician And he gave me appointment fr monday Let’s see wot will he say now
I have the same error code. Thanks for the heads-up but from what I’ve read it can be a leak anywhere in the induction system so it will take some investigating.
@pops Yoshi, do check the inter-cooler radiator, it is easy to access and the fault is obvious as you can see an oil mark on the main radiator, check out the video of when the mechanic is running the engine and pushing smoke through it, there is an oil mark on the main radiator Good luck, please do tell people what your problem did turn out to be as it could help others !
@@joewoodford9428 All my problems were the result of the left hand cam cover developing a tiny split. That also caused other problems including the dpf not regenerating.
Hi Fish and Reptile Info ! No this was done by the garage as it involved taking the bumper off and I was not actually sure what the issue was. Since then as I had to replace a HID bulb I had to remove the front bumper, but I think you have already watched that video !!! Hopefully you liked both videos as that help with the RU-vid algorithms bumping it up !! Good luck Joe
I think this code is a generic MAF error, there are two MAF sensors on the XF's turbo system. one after the air in take filter and then one for air going to the engineer after passing through the turbo and intercooler sections. The issue I had was the pressure loss due to the broken inertcooler and the MAF values being so far off that the ECU then inhibited the engine. You will need to check the whole air intake system to see if there is a problem in any pipes or you might just have dirty MAFs. This video might help (it a BMW but the same idea) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-whdrX8N8hAI.html
@DonMikson, the apps is called DashCmd (iPhone) and I used the ELM OBD-II device over the device's built in WiFi connection. I think there are many clones out there and even ones that work over Bluetooth. Hope this helps, if so please think to LIKE and if poss Sub... Cheers Joe
Hey, i thing I have the same problem , on the board computer stay the same thing , only wanna ask if you have lost oil besides ur intercooler? Thank you!
Hi, the turbo will use some oil to lubricate it, though I don’t think it will be a lot. If you are loosing oil through the turbo you might have a more serious issue. Recommend visiting a Jag specialist in that case.
Sorry I should have been clearer. We’re you getting any kind of noise under acceleration or reviving? I have a strange noise and I’m trying to put my finger on it. It’s coming from that area you see
Hi Matt, there we no unusual sounds to give me a clue as to the issue. If the intercooler has blown then under high revs I might have heard the air rushing out. But as I had the error code I knew there was MAF issue , hence why I suspected a turbo pipe. I had no clue there was a split in the intercooler. Sorry not sure this helps. Does your XF throw any codes or is it just a noise you have an issue with?
@ james paterson, as the XF was just outside warranty and had fairly low mileage JLR paid 50% of the work and parts. I think it cost me around £600 in the end.
