I understand the main issue wasn't the glow plug causing the intermittent power issue but please PLEASE tell me the garage you are parked outside didn't pass the job on to you because they couldn't do it??????

Not that they couldn't do it, it was one of a list of complaints and they share what's on the table with me, I do the Diag and get paid, they do the repairs and get paid. Customers get a first time fix with no unnecessary parts. They're a good bunch 👍

Amazing video but I'm wondering how do you know that the circuit tester is letting through 400ma please? I've looked online but none of them have this specification. I'm new to all this so maybe a silly question 😅.

I test all my test lights and put different bulbs in so each one has a different current draw. I measure this using an amp meter. Hope this helps

Great demonstration Steve of showing the steps in identifying a bad glow plug using a test light. I noticed that your meter displayed OUC.H I've never seen a meter display that and was curious what does it mean? Have a good one and don't work too hard!

Good video Steve. What brand of glow plugs do you like? i hate the Berus absolute junk. Never work on these, but that connector looks like a BMW radio plug haha

absolute boss! I had a Citroen with glowplug fault on Thursday and followed this to the letter. All 4 plugs dead. Much easier than my usual routine!

Hi Steve I’m curious as to weather the wiring diagram informs you that the cylinder layout is in fact reversed I.e cylinder 1 is actually gearbox end. (At least it was according to Nissan diagrams) 👍🏻 fantastic video as always

Great question Jack, it's irrelevant in this case as the wires are coloured individually so easy to trace also best practice would see all glow plugs replaced at the same time.
