P0401 Diagnosis 

The used DFPE sensor I installed last year failed, resulting in a P0401 code for insufficient EGR flow. Here's the diagnosis and replacement.
1999 Mercury Cougar 2.5L V6. This engine came out of a 1998 Ford Contour, so the procedure is the same.
