I've been trying to find the reason for the occasional P2101 & P2135 codes and I had very vague thoughts about them NOT being from the throttle pedal sensor nor the throttle body either.
Those parts had been changed multiple time - not by me - before I received the TB and I was told it had a "problem" and it came with a small scanner that was only capable of reading and deleting codes. I kept that wrapped around my steering column for "when" it happened, like I said: whenever it felt like it.
Interestingly, I had the engine idling a couple of days ago and ever-so-gently brushed on the loom on top of the plenum and the engine died!
It was an "Aha Moment" so I set aside the time today to check out the wires in the snake skin loom stuff.
There was a big lump in the taped up wires when I got the skin off and I saw those humungous blue crimped connectors, very badly crimped, for much larger wire, with corrosion and open to water intrusion was the reason why things just never made sense.
So here I have soldered and heat-shrunk the wires and I later on put new snake skin on it.
